A place to relax and enjoy nature's attractions, on Turangi's most beautiful riverside area in Taupahi Road. This spacious and modernised riverside home is well set up with everything for comfort , so you can relax and recharge or take advantage of all the activities available close by in the Central North Island.Just two minutes walk to world famous fishing pools such as the Breakfast Pool and Major Jones. There is no shortage of local activities with fabulous river and mountain walks, some fantastic bike tracks to suit all levels of rider (2 adult bikes available in garage), hot pools , a lovely golf course 5 mins drive away, ski fields, cafes , including one cafe at the top of our driveway, and restaurants all just minutes away. The Lake is only a 5 minute drive and has a great boat ramp at Tokaanu (10 min drive). River Retreat offers excellent off street parking for cars and is right next door to Brook Mews - another holiday cottage available through bookabach which could also be booked for reunions and large group visits.
Special conditions:
Two night minimum stay, except for long weekends and Christmas holidays. Long weekends have a 3 night minimum stay.
Linen available for additional charge. Portacot, baby bedding and highchair supplied. Smokers must smoke outside (use covered deck) . Cleaning fee of $75 applies.

Well behaved pets OK with prior arrangement.
