Modern, quiet comfort for two

A short drive out of the city and heading towards Sumner, Redcliffs is a small village with shops and cafes. If you like hill walking there are countless options from the house without needing to use the car. You could also walk down the hill and explore the beach at Sumner and it's cafes and restaurants. If you are here on the weekend there is the Lyttelton market or the Mt Pleasant market a short drive away. There are two sailing clubs close by and the opportunity to enjoy all the watersports you can think of. However maybe you prefer sitting on the deck with a glass of wine and admiring the sunset, or doing the same down on the beach! The choice is yours..
Special conditions:
No loud parties or visitors coming and going late at night. This is a quiet neighbourhood.
The kitchen is only a kitchenette and not suitable for cooking dinners, perfectly adequate for breakfast and light meals. Gas barbeque outside with cooking element on the side. Gas provided.

I built this house for myself four years ago. Having lived in Europe I wanted a warm house up to European standards. The apartment was actually added for my Mum but she scuppered my best laid plans and sadly died before the house was completed. I love meeting my guests and sharing a glas of wine and the bounty from my large garden when it is available. I do appreciate though that some people are seeking quiet and peace.

Why they chose this property

This is a warm, private apartment on a quiet street only minutes from beaches and walks. There is a bus stop at the bottom of the hill which will take you right into the city. I love the walks both up the hill and down to the beach. People here are friendly and welcoming.

What makes this property unique

this house has been built to a high standard with the bathroom having both undertile heating and heated towel rail. The wardrobe is large and separate from the bedroom. Comfort and wamth are priorities here.
