This property was excellent for our family gathering. The space was just what we needed. Everyone was comfortable and warm (our stay was in July, winter). The games room was popular, along with the spa, and the animals on the property. The property provided everything we needed. I warmly recommend this place for all ages.

Lovely property - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Grandchildren loved the animals and the space to run around and ride their bikes. Well equipped kitchen and plenty of space to spread out. Would recommend to other families.

Everything with stay was really good all facilities were available but when booking an extra cleaning fees and linen fees of 500 was added which was a bit extensive and when leaving site

These guests partied until 3am and when they left the place was a disgusting mess so extra was charged for extra cleaning and other things. A range of images told the story. We wouldnt have them back

There was great communication with Norman and they were able to address all questions we had. We had a wonderful time here. This would be an awesome summer stay with how the garage is set up. We were grateful for the hospitality!

Country retreat near Rotorua

We had a lovely few days in Hamurana. The house was perfect for exploring the local area and the children loved the games room and alpacas next door. The house was very comfortable and spacious and everything was easy to find.

Fantastic place for a big group!

This is an amazing place to stay! We had a large family group of 4 generations from 5 months to 78 years old and we all had plenty of room to spread out and be comfortable. The whole place was well stocked for large family groups. The outdoor area was amazing with lots of seating for everyone. We had no complaints at all and were sad to leave after our week there. Highly recommended for any trip to the Rotorua area!

February weekend away

My girl friends and our mums had a lovely weekend away. Layout of the house is perfect for big groups, we all had plenty of space. And a lovely outdoor area to enjoy a glass of wine and a chat in the peaceful surrounding.

An Amazing Choice for Families with Kids

The location was perfect for my group of 3 families with all kids under the age of 6. The space offered for the kids was ideal, with farm animals in close proximity to the lodging. We did not once need to reach out to the house owners during our trip as everything was in order, thought out and working well!
