This house was perfect for our family, it was in such a quiet, peaceful setting overlooking the lake. The couches were very comfortable for watching movies and we enjoyed making a fire with s’mores at the fire pit

The house is very nice, but has some maintenance issues that need to be addressed. The air conditioner has a lock setting that does not allow a temp lower than 74 and it was not comfortable especially in the afternoon. In the summer heat it went up to 78. We spoke to the owners and they did not lift the lock setting the entire time we were there. The 2 upstairs bedrooms need portable air units running to keep cool which they did bring the first night for the second bedroom that was quite hot. We were there 4 nights and unfortunately the very first night the fridge/freezer broke. The owners were not able to get a repair person to the house while we were there. They did bring coolers and then after our second night they brought a mini fridge. Unfortunately we lost a lot of perishable foods that first night and we were not able to store food for meals for 6 people so we had to eat out much more than we planned. It was huge inconvenience and added expense. We communicated with the owners to try to come up with a fair resolution. They only gave us a 211.60 credit which I don’t feel was a fair resolution.

We’re glad you found the house very nice, and we’re sorry the cooling and refrigerator issues disrupted your stay. The home has one central HVAC system, and because the upstairs bedrooms can run warmer during peak summer heat, portable A/C units are provided there; when an additional unit was requested, it was delivered the first night. When the refrigerator unexpectedly failed, coolers with ice were brought over that evening, followed by a mini-refrigerator the next night. We understand these issues were inconvenient and appreciate the opportunity to provide some context on the steps taken during the stay.

The property was exactly as described! Home was spacious and very comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bedrooms were great. The backyard was the BEST! Beautiful trees and views. The dock was a great place to sit and chat and fish. The location was so close to everything, yet not busy. It was perfect! We look forward to coming again.
