Perfect place to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. Great bike trails close by in Todd,NC. And great chicken salad sandwiches at the Todd General store.

Such a fantastic and unique experience! It felt like we were staying in a treehouse! The accommodations are excellent and the view from the porch is breathtaking! Would definitely stay there again!

Very relaxing and peaceful. Close enough drive into town to find plenty of things to do! The owner was fantastic.

This was a fun stay in an unique Eco Structure. We had a very comfortable weekend and enjoyed the lovely view from the deck. Cool nights allowed for a relaxing fire while watching the moon rise over the mountain which was a spectacular end to a day of exploring the area. Good central location for Boone, Banner Elk, Grandfather Mountain and surrounds. Bob was a great host and we appreciate the hospitality!

I set this trip up as a reset for myself and my wife. It was exactly what we were looking for. If you are looking for a place to reconnect with your partner from a busy life, or a quiet place to read a book, this it. I highly recommend.

So cute and comfy! Clean with beautiful views. Abundant wildlife. Everything we needed and nothing that we didn’t. Driveway is STEEP but my lil hybrid made it! Loved it and would love to stay again.

Perfect romantic getaway

We had a great long weekend at the Shipley Farm Mountain View tent. Best sleep with the cool open air and comfy bed. Bob and Gray welcomed us and made sure we had everything we needed. We especially loved spending time on the balcony looking at the view. Highly recommend!

Our mountain getaway was perfect! It was clean, so cute, unbeatable views and perfect for our family. We made such great memories and were able to unwind and relax as a family. We traveled with two small kids who loved the bunk room and can’t wait to go “camping” again! The host was so kind, sweet and helpful. They even gave our kids a little tour of their farm and allowed them to help feed the cows which was a huge hit. We can’t wait to return!

Neat Experience

The cabin is very interesting and well done. It was also very clean and nothing like one would expect when "staying in a tent." Driveway is steep so be sure to have the right vehicle.

Wonderful mountain visit and glamping experience! I recommend staying here if you want or need to get away for some piece and quiet. The people at Shipley Farms are accommodating and helpful. Learning about the history of the farm was a highlight of our trip.
