The accommodations were excellent, except that on two days of our stay there were workers less than ten feet away from our patio (we were on the ground floor), cleaning up mangroves, and laying down sod; at one point they were actually on our patio looking at plans. It was extremely intrusive because they could see right into our apartment, and the machinery that they were using was loud. We had to close the blinds, which made us feel very closed in. I did get in touch with the rental company, and they were very pleasant, and responsive; but it was, nonetheless, a situation that I would have preferred not to have experienced. At one point, I even spoke to the workers myself, and asked if they could work elsewhere; by the emptiness of the parking lot and pool, it seemed as though there weren’t many occupants. They did end up leaving our yard on the second day, but they were there from around 8:30 am till about 3:00 pm on the first day, and for a couple of hours on the second day, also starting at 8:30 am.
