This house had some pluses and a lot of minuses. The location is great (a very short walk to the beach), the kitchen is well stocked for cooking, and the living room sofa is new and clean, as is the bedding. But overall, the house is in desperate need of an update. The ground floor smells of mildew. Air vents and window screens look like they've never been cleaned. The only lighting in the majority of the bathrooms is one light bulb. The carpet on the stairs is gross. The pool at the house was full of sand and despite my request on the 1st day that they send someone to clean it, it was never vacuumed during the week that we were there. The host (Village Realty) did not provide us with a parking pass or pool passes to access to the community pools, nor did they provide instructions on how to get them (a lifeguard at the pool had to tell us how to get them). I would not stay here again.
