Our group enjoyed our stay so much - that after being home from our July stay - we rebooked for Summer of 2025.
It's GREAT having a backyard that's a pond.
Great property for a Plymouth golf trip. 15 minutes to all 4 courses we played. Fit our group and golf equipment with ease. All around great place and nice host.
We had two families (4 adults, 5 kids) in the house for the week, and it was the perfect summer escape. The kids were endlessly entertained in the basement playroom, and hours of swimming in the clear water out to the floating dock. There were so many outdoor tables that we enjoyed snacks, lunch, and dinners outside. The floor plan on each level that it there was plenty of room for all 9 of us. The beach sand was lovely; the beach had shade in the morning and afternoon. We made lasting memories at this lakehouse and hope to return next year.
Lovely property on quiet pond, 9 of us stayed for a long weekend. Able to use canoe, kayak paddle was missing but my sister is local and able to bring one. Owner was available via text. Only real complaint would be on the housekeeping end, lots of areas not dusted and the patio out of the basement and porch needed to be swept.
Thank you for an absolutely wonderful weekend! It exceeded all of our expectations and was a fantastic time! We treated my parents who were celebrating their 60th anniversary, and the property was the perfect space for our group of 11 ranging in age from 14 to 84! Something to do for absolutely everyone and the house and property were just magical! From the active pond wildlife, to the readily available beach and boats, large deck, grill, great fishing, even ping-pong and an unbelievably well-stocked kitchen -- plus vast amounts of space and beauty -- it was so much more than we could have hoped for. Very, very grateful for a truly special time and amazing memories! Many thanks!
This home was absolutely perfect. There were plenty of beds with a variety of firmness so you could find the one that fits you perfectly. They had everything we needed, including a pack and play and a highchair for the baby. The kids would wake up in the morning and grab a quick breakfast on the deck before jumping in the lake by 730. The house was much larger than I anticipated, it felt airy and bright and relaxing. They were plenty of chairs and tables outside, which made all of our meals very easy. The property was well-maintained and suited our needs wonderfully. There is a small yard to play yard games, and a nice amount of sand for the kids to build castles in. The canoe allowed several people to adventure together. The dock was great for the kids to jump off into the water. Going around the small pond in a kayak, you could tell that this is the best house on the pond. Steve, the host, was very responsive. When the town lost power one day, he called to check on us.
Our stay was wonderful. The serenity of Sitting by the pond was therapeutic and just beautiful. Steve was so attentive. When we needed extra pillows, he had them shipped immediately. Would definitely stay here again!
Really clean and very spacious, with games for kids & adults, indoor and outdoor space was great. Could hardly get the kids out of the pond, so they were happy. Plenty of kitchen equipment. For three related families getting together - can't beat 3 bathrooms too!. Great quiet neighborhood. Plan to visit it again.
The house is as pictured...it is large and beautiful. It has everything you need to cook and spend a nice week on the Pond.
The swimming area in front of the house is cleared of weeds. The pier was not in this year as was pictured, but it didn't change our experience. Would highly recommend this home.
We had such a wonderful stay! This place has everything a family needs to have a wonderful vacation. The beach and pond are lovely. The house is spacious. Thanks Steve!
This house was great for our group. The kids all loved going out on the pond, swimming to the raft, kayaking and canoeing. The basement is unfinished but the kids who stayed down there didn't mind. The basketball game was an added bonus for the boys
Enjoyed our time at this home. Wished the mattresses were a bit mor comfortable, other than the king which was very comfy. The home was well stocked for what you may need for cooking. Had a small issue with running out of hot water/dryer not getting hot, quickly determined the tanks were empty. Which was handled quickly by the owner. Overall a nice place.
My family and I had a wonderful time at this home. It was spacious and beautiful on the inside, and sat on the perfect piece of property. We had a blast cooking meals and entertaining in the kitchen, and grilling out on the deck. The beach area was perfect, especially with small children. We thoroughly enjoyed the canoe, kayak, and the peace of this small pond. Definitely a great week, and Steve made everything so easy.
This is a lovely home on a tranquil pond. We enjoyed every moment. The home is well thought out with areas for groups and for quiet time. We loved sitting on the upper deck overlooking the pond sipping morning coffee. During the day we did canoeing and kayaking along with swimming out to the dock. The water was amazingly clear. The children enjoyed finding frogs and tadpoles. There were beautiful water lilies to check out.
The home had a well stocked kitchen along with a great grill on the deck. The open family area lent itself well to group activities such as board games and puzzle making. Over all we had a wonderful time and I would recommend this home to others.
A great time. Three generations enjoyed the week. Great location right at the pond with private beach and dock. Plenty of fishing. Close to many activities but you dont even need to leave. Full kitchen to prepare meals games galore. Fun for the whole family.
This home was great, It offered a place for our family to relax and have fun, Plenty of space for all, Great yard set up with deck, patio, yard space for games and waterfront with a sandy beach for the 2 youngest in our family to play at the edge of the water, Stores are a 15 minute ride away. Steve was easy to communicate with and had trash service and linens for renters so they did not have to bring from home, A big thanks to Steve for allowing us to enjoy his home.

Ideal location and setting.
We had a fantastic vacation at this property. Located on a private pond, it is quiet, but within easy reach of Plymouth and all that the cape has to offer. Our days were spent either relaxing at the house and swimming in the warm fresh water pond - which has a great raft for diving and a small private sand beach - or off exploring Cape Cod.
The house is clean, stocked with all of the essentials for a self sufficient stay, and spacious. Air conditioning was a nice perk for warm nights. The three floor set up was great, as it allowed everyone the room to either find their own space, or gather comfotably for meals, and games together.
Highly recommended!

Perfect vacation spot.
We had a wonderful week at the pond house in Plymouth. Grandparents, parents and five children had such a great time swimming, kayaking, fishing and enjoying the beautiful house. There was plenty of room for all and the yard was very well maintained and perfect for the kids. We had a problem with the microwave and the owner stopped by and fixed the problem. The setting is perfect and peaceful and yet not more than 15 or 20 minutes from the beach and other attractions. I would highly recommend this listing for any age group-especially nice for families with kids. We loved it so much we have already booked again for next summer!

Beautiful Place
It was a beautiful house. We all had a great time there. Fully worth for the price. Kitchen was filled with all the things needed for cooking, baking & BBQ.
There was a nice pond behind the house filled with fish. My friends stopped counting how many fish they caught after a little while. :) There was a canoe & a kayak, so that you can spend lot of time in the pond itself.
There are many beautiful beaches around that you can enjoy.

Why they chose this property
We were looking for a summer home after staying with friends at their summer house in Plymouth. My oldest daughter was a toddler and thought it would be a great place to have a summer home for our new and growing family. Plymouth has everything and is very convenient to the Cape and Boston so we thought it would be perfect for us. I found this property after searching many, many properties. I fell in love with the location and the spring fed, clean swimmable pond. At this time the house was a small ranch. As our family grew to #2 and #3 we realized we would have to sell or make this house larger. We love this area so much, in 2008 I decided to raze the small ranch and build a completely new house with a full walkout basement and 2 floors above. I designed this house to take in the panoramic views and the nature abound. I also had in mind the countless large family gatherings we have at the house. I made a large open floor plan with all glass overlooking the water and a huge deck. We still use this as a summer house but I went a 'little crazy' when building so we have to rent out a few weeks to help pay the bills. We are happy to see other families share our 'little gem' and have many vacationers request to come back multiple times.
