I was impressed with the communication and the easy access, it helped so much as I had two elderly friends staying and getting to the castle for the royal tattoo.
Such a great location and comfortable flat. Easy walking distance to areas of interest and public transport. The hosts were attentive and easy to communicate with. Would absolutely stay here again.
The property was very well located. The only problem was air circulation. There were only 2 windows that opened, but they were restricted from opening more than about 2 inches making the unit warm (particularly in July). Also close to some type of student housing. Anyway - ok, but not when it’s wart
As a family of 2 adults and 1 teenager, we really enjoyed the stay at this apartment in Grassmarket. Instructions and comms from the owner was good, the place was as advertised, and we were very happy to stay there. Barring some minor scuffs to the walls in a couple of places, excellent condition and well placed close to the centre of Edinburgh. Would stay again.
Great location in the heart of Edinburgh’s Old City with a brand-new, clean property. The manager was easy to reach and very helpful. Only downside was the sofa in the living room, which wasn’t as clean as the rest of the space. Still, highly recommended for travelers!
Flat was clean and new with all the basic amenities, became our “ home away from home” very quickly. Centrally situated between Old and New Towns with steps access to the Royal Mile. Would recommend for one couple .. ok with kids, but might be small for two couples. Would definitely stay here again!

This place is absolutely in the best location ever!!! I read the reviews and location and didn’t believe it but it’s true! I could walk to all the sights I wanted to see. This place was super clean and super safe. Can’t say enough good things about the location. I highly recommend this place.

Front door (with fob) needed a technique - would have been good to know. Needed a good firm wiggle!
The property is very well located in a quite area, but is just steps away from restaurants, pubs and shops. Also, you can easily walk to the Royal Mile or New Town.
The kitchen was also well appointed. The unit and building common areas show some signs of use, but the unit was clean. Note to travelers: the listing indicates there is a clothes dryer, but what is meant by dryer here is a spin cycle after the wash to remove water from clothes. So leave time for your clothes to hang dry (the unit does provide a rack)

Absolutely terrible communication by this host. Ended up having to stay in a different hotel for the weekend. Would not recommend.
This was an amazing apartment at such a great spot. The apartment is in a sort of college living area, and had a fullet stove and range, full fridge and freezer, microwave, toaster. We made two full dinners while here, as there's a Sainbury grocery store just up the stairs out the front door and two blocks over. It felt very safe behind a locked lobby as well. The main bedroom had an amazing window reading nook that I spent all my time in when we were resting or getting ready each day.
The location is great for getting to both old and new Edinburgh. Straight out of the office is a flight of stairs (steep, but what isn't in Edinburgh), that runs straight up to the side of Edinburgh castle, and a 5 minute walk around the base to the start of the Royal mile. If you go straight instead of the stairs it's a 5 minute walk into new Edinburgh and prince's street. turn right and you're in the Grass Market in minutes and Victoria street just around the corner.
Would definitely stay here again. Perfect.
Had to call vrbo contact number to get ahold of host to get into the apartment for ck in. People kept leaving trash by the elevator and there was food left in the lobby which wS still there after 2 days. Carpets in apartment dirty

Positives and Negatives
On the positive side:
I have rented over 25/vrbo places.
The host was very attentive and quick to help us and answer any questions or address any problems that arose. That's a plus
The location is great. Grassmarket is one block away. The supermarket is one block away. Short walking distance to Princes Street and even Edinburgh Caste (if you are fit enough to walk up a half mile hill!).
The location is also quiet and the block leading to Grassmarket is occupied mostly by student who attend the University of Edinburgh.
The place is fairly new not brand new with modern stove, dishwater, fridge and bathroom shower, sink, etc... All pluses.
The apartment appears to be vacuumed and mopped after each stay however, it is not what we would have called clean considering the price.
The sofa is vacuumed and spot cleaned but it needs a professional cleaning along with the carpets. Same with the hardwood and tile floors. Same with the bedding. Clean but spotted. Needs to be replaced.
We would not stay there again unless I had the reassurance that this was done.

Regarding the sink plug, it can easily be opened by simply pushing it down once. I can’t say enough good things about our stay at this condo. Kenny’s communication was perfect & he even checked on us to make sure we were experiencing the 5 star stay we deserved. The condo is in a modern building tucked into the very best location of historic Edinburgh. It is equipped with every convince you would want. The location is right next to the Castle, the Royal Mile, Grass market & other top tourist locations but in a quiet location away from the noise. We truly loved our 5-Star stay in this wonderful Condo !!
Overall, the apartment is very nice. Communication with the host was excellent. Everything was very clean. The only difficult situation was locating the lock box with the key. More than likely due to jet lag. The description of the location of the lock box would be better if stated in steps rather than doors down. The location of the apartment was very close to many restaurants and within walking distance of the castle. I would recommend this to be a wonderful stay for a couple, or a couple with children. The second bed is a pull out sofa.
Beautiful apartment, located near everything. The host was great at keeping in touch. I will definitely stay here again, and will recommend it to all my friends.
A good location with many excellent restaurants and bars close by. An easy walk though the park to central Edinburgh. Good for two people but might be a cramped for four.
