About this property
A beautiful, peaceful Smoky Mountain retreat with views. Sleeps 14.
This cozy cabin is tucked away on the peaceful side of the Great Smoky Mountains. We have created a comfortable yet beautiful space for you to enjoy and create lasting memories. You'll love the open floor plan and view out the main area windows. Enjoy the hot tub and wood burning fire place (seasonal) cuddled up with your loved ones. If you are looking for a quiet place to relax with friends and family, this place is for you.
The Space: There are just a few steps to navigate from the driveway to the covered front porch. From the porch you walk into the main level which hosts the primary bedroom with a king size bed, bathroom, living room, kitchen, dining, large deck, screened in porch, grilling deck and the laundry room. Upstairs we have two beautifully decorated bedrooms (one king and one queen), and a full bathroom. There is also a cozy open loft that includes a twin daybed with a twin trundle, and a workstation with a monitor and common adaptors to plug in your laptop. On the bottom level there are three bunk beds (6 full-size beds) along with a ping pong table, foosball table, another full living room, large tv, and a retro gaming console. The kitchen is very well stocked to accommodate cooking for a large group. Numerous pots, pans, cooking utensils, waffle maker, instant pot, blender, and electric griddle makes it like cooking at home. There is an additional refrigerator/freezer in the main level laundry room to store all your groceries. We also have the following coffee/tea options: Nespresso, regular coffee pot, french press and an electric kettle. Our hot tub and hammock are located in a cozy setting on the lower deck.
A few details to note: We are in a private community with some full time residents, to respect the neighborhood we keep the quiet hours of 10pm to 7am. The HOA does not allow any recreational vehicles or trailers in the driveway.
The area: The Townsend area is preferred by many due to all the beautiful nature and lack of crowds you'll find in Gatlinburg. We are very conveniently located to the Smoky Mountains and some popular areas like Cades Cove and Tremont. There are several nearby creeks, rivers and of course hiking trails. The private mountain community is very safe and centrally located, just a couple miles off Hwy 321. We hope you truly enjoy your stay and make lasting memories! About the host
Hosted by Kindahl
Our family lives in the East Tennessee valley area not far from these beautiful mountains. We find ourselves visiting often and wanting to stay longer. My kids really love playing in the near by creeks and exploring new trails. There are some great swimming holes that we frequent often as well. This cabin is a dream for us as a family and we hope you can enjoy it as much as we do.
Why they chose this property
We chose the Townsend area because we love its rural old town feel and it's closeness to the Great Smoky Mountains, Cades Cove, Foothills Parkway, Treemont, creeks and rivers. Pigeon Forge (30min) and Gatlinburg(45min) are close enough for day trips!
