Property inside could have used a little clean up. I don’t think anyone had been there in a while. There were dead mosquitos on the kitchen counters and some dead crickets and spiders on the floor that could have been cleaned up. Everything was strangely made for very tall people. Specially the kitchen. If you are under 6ft tall cooking in that kitchen is near impossible. Also the road and driveway are treacherous. If you have more than two cars it’s tough to park. The positives were many though too. It was very spacious and had nice furniture and beds. The dock was nice as we had 2 boats and there were two slips to use and a boat lift which was great. All in all the stay was nice. Not sure I could justify their summer rate for the house but the rate in October was very reasonable.

Family Reunion

Our family drove in from multiple states. This was a great meeting spot. The house was very nice. The dock was a great gathering point. I would say there were some issues for handicap family members. There is no railing going down to the lake and the driveway is very steep and uneven. Also, the sleeping loft is only accessible by a ladder which was not safe for my son with cerebral palsy. Other guests may want to be aware. Great fishing and swimming off the dock. We had a total of 15 adults and 2 children. We had plenty of space for all. Thank you for a great stay and fun memories!

Perfect Family Week

We had 5 couples and 13 kids, ages 3-14. Eveyone slept comfortably and we cooked most meals in the spacious, well stocked kitchen. 3 master bedrooms, then 2 couples shared a hallway bathroom across from their bedrooms. Big kids LOVED the huge bunkroom and littles thought the secret loft was so much fun. The dock provided endless fun: caught tons of brim, bass, catfish, swam and enjoyed the slide and diving platform, played on lilypad, skiied, tubed, and kneeboarded in the cove behind our boat, mastered paddle boarding and kayaking. Adults especially appreciated the comfy seating and plentiful shade on the dock. Owner was super responsive and easy to work with. It was a perfect week for our extended family vacation!
