Loved my "staycation" at the Tree house. I just needed a couple of days to relax. Carmen and Joe are very friendly. Loved the location, the scenery and the animals. Great place to unwind. Would love to go back some time, maybe in the fall, I bet it's beautiful.

Thank you so much! 🌳✨ We’re thrilled you had such a relaxing staycation and were able to unwind with the scenery and animals — that’s exactly the kind of peaceful break we hope to provide. Fall really is beautiful here, and we’d love to welcome you back anytime! 🍂
Great communication; cozy, rustic and spotless treehouse off the beaten path. Good restaurants in the area. Great antique and consignment finds within 30 minutes. Next time, we'll go when it's warmer out! Thanks again!

Thank you so much! 🌳✨ We’re glad you enjoyed the cozy, off-the-beaten-path treehouse and exploring the great local spots. Warmer weather is a whole new experience here — we’d love to welcome you back next time!
My husband and I were exploring a number of birding hotspots in the quiet corner and decided to try the treehouse. We woke to the dawn bird chorus (without any ambient road noise). Just dreamy!
Very peaceful and beautiful, the sheep come rite under the tree house every morning!! Recharged my batteries from the craziness of life

Thanks so much, Wayne! 🐑🌳 We’re so glad the peaceful setting and morning sheep visits gave you the perfect reset from the daily grind. It means a lot to know the treehouse and farm helped you recharge. Come back anytime for more serenity and sweet animal encounters! 😊✨
So cozy and it felt so restorative to be around the animals and surrounded by nature. We had a great time getting away from it all-- we didn't want to leave!
My second time here and it honestly feels like a second home. The animals are friendly and so was Carmen! It's honestly a must, if you have a bucket list. Joseph was very helpful and thorough as a superhost. I highly recommend visiting!

Tiara, wow thanks for coming back to see us! We'll see you again soon!
Stayed here once before and loved it. We came back for an overnight get away and again the treehouse was awesome. Very cozy and a unique getaway. Very clean and had anything we needed right there. Set on a nice farm and close to some really good food. Great place to come and enjoy an awesome cabin up in the trees. Was a comfy and fun stay. Would highly recommend. Host was very helpful and quick to respond if needed.

Shivanie,
OMG!!! Congrats on the Engagement! Maybe you'll pick Bluebird Farm, the location of the treehouse, for your wedding ceremony and reception?! We hope so!!!
The treehouse was great! It is as pictured, clean, small. The fireplace was connected to the thermostat which I thought was really cool. We got to see the animals on property which was an extra treat. There was a lot of extra spices, oils, water, coffee that we could use. Waking up with the windows all around and then going out on the balcony was so peaceful and nice. The only thing is the compost toilet smelled. We were there for one night and by the next day it smelled even putting the lid down and closing the bathroom door. There is a window we could’ve opened. Im not sure if they clean it out everyday? The area is a little out there but we didn’t mind since we were already driving around. Overall great experience and would stay here again.

Thank you so much for the thoughtful feedback — we’re really glad you enjoyed the treehouse, the views, and the animals! 🌿🐐
And thank you for mentioning the compost toilet — we appreciate it. It is cleaned and refreshed between every stay, but sometimes depending on temperature and humidity it can use a little extra ventilation. We’ll make sure to add clearer instructions and an extra refresh step so it stays as comfortable as possible for everyone.
So glad you’d stay again — we’d love to welcome you back! 🌳💚
I and two of my friends enjoyed a wonderful overnight stay at the Bluebird Farm Treehouse. We were welcomed by our friendly host and given a tour of the property, complete with "introductions" to the dogs, goats, and sheep on the farm. It was such a treat to "get away from it all." The bucolic setting was perfect for our need to rest, enjoy each other's company, and feel refreshed. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Sarah, wow what a review!!! Thank you for being such a pleasant guest, we hope to meet you again soon!
My partner and I planned a road trip to Boston and we stayed the night in the treehouse as our halfway point. Our experience was incredible and our stay was everything we could have asked for! We will definitely be returning in the future!
I stayed for a night with my wife to celebrate her birthday, and this beautiful property and space did not disappoint. We were greeted upon parking by two majestic dogs, followed by a gorgeous snowy walk down to the treehouse where we saw the lovely features of the property; a barn shop, an arch and seating for a wedding, a quaint dance hall and a fire pit. The treehouse brought such a sense of childhood wonder to the stay, and it was such a treat to be able to play many classic board games on the couch by a fire. Highly recommend this place, we only wish we stayed longer!

Thanks, CV! 😊 We're so happy you chose the treehouse for such a special celebration! 🎉🏡 The magical setting, cozy fire, and classic board games really make for an unforgettable stay. Hope to host you both again—maybe for a longer visit next time! ✨
We only stopped for a night passing through on our way to Maine. What a perfect little spot. Easy On/off from I84. It fit the 4 of us with ease. Bed was comfortable, and with all the windows open it was the best night of sleep I’ve had in months! The goats and sheep were comical, the dogs and cats lovable, and the general vibe of the place was well worth the price! We would definitely book again when passing through.
I loved the atmosphere of this property. A great place for someone who is accustomed to staying at modern hotels and wants to transition into camping. I loved every view. My favorite part of the trip was being greeted from feline friends; they even said goodbye. I am 100% likely to return to this treehouse!!
Thank you!

Tiara,
Thanks for the amazing review, we hope to see you again.
I booked the stay as a Christmas gift for my sister and her wife. They absolutely loved their stay in this picturesque treehouse! They said it was the perfect location to unwind and relax surrounded by nature. They would love to return in the summer or fall to meet the animals, enjoy the fire pit and relax on the deck. 10/10 recommend!
Such a magical idea, something I knew my wife would appreciate and the treehouse didn't disappoint! - In the dead of winter, the gas fireplace not only was fantastic ambiance, but kept both floors extremely cozy - The treehouse itself was very clean and everything worked as expected- Perfect environment for snuggling, reading a book, or taking time to communicate with each other- Online check-in, check-out was simple- The grounds looked wonderful, although we where passing through and didn't have much time to fully explore them. I highly recommend the treehouse whose significant other is a kid at heart.

Michael, thanks for the thoughtful review! 🌲✨ So glad the treehouse was the perfect cozy retreat for you and your wife. Nothing beats a warm fire and a little nostalgia! Hope you can visit again to explore more of the farm next time! 😊🔥
The treehouse at Bluebird Farm was a perfect place for us to get away for our 19th wedding anniversary. Everyone there was so friendly and the animals were great! The farm is in a nice quiet area, but still near lots of things to do/see/places to eat. On the farm the treehouse is in a private corner where we loved sitting on the deck and watching the animals. We had a relaxing time around a campfire as the stars came out. Sleeping in the treetops with a nice cool breeze coming through the many windows was amazing. Loved our stay and are so grateful to the hosts for their kindness and generosity to share their home.
So fun to have no TV and play board games... I of course won... my skills are in tact... lol love the grounds, the animals, the lights are so romantic... Go dance in the barn, have a fire 🔥 🎶 😍 👌 🌟 ⭐ 🌠 💫... Check out the cute gazebo... Beautiful area... went for a nice hike in the rain, after we checked out in the morning.... waking ⏰ up to the sunrise 🌅 ✨ in the woods from the bedroom windows connects spirit ✨ 🙌 to nature... Wonderful experience... Claire and Michael Thankyou to our host Carmen and your hubby I think... Nice to talk to you in the morning, and get to know about the animals... Blessings in abundance... Hope you got your Rose 💖🌹😘
I honestly don’t know where the 9/10 ratings came from, but I can say for certain that it was not here. While I understand a functioning farm, this was not the Yellowstone. The eco-friendly toilet is nothing short of a construction bucket with a bag, definitely not the “charming” outdoor experience I was hoping for. While you think you are saving the planet with this eco-friendly indoor outhouse, this makeshift urine disposal system consists of a sawed-off pipe sending urine outside the back of the cabin, which I’m sure is a great feature if you’re into rustic plumbing, but not ideal for a relaxing stay. The overwhelming urine smell near the back of the cabin certainly didn’t add to the ambiance. The 1800s called, they want their chamber pot back! Then there’s the so-called “kitchen amenities.” Styrofoam plates and plastic cutlery are not what I would consider “dishes.” The more than half-empty, murky water jug left a lot to be desired. Black mold in the air conditioning unit, thick dust, and old used oils/spices in the single cabinet, combined with cleaning supplies under the sink that clearly hadn’t been touched, I’m not sure what housekeeping was actually doing. The half-used toiletries in the kitchen/bathroom gave it more of a homeless shelter vibe than a getaway cabin. The refrigerator had frost buildup, making it virtually unusable. The stains on the couch would make a forensic team proud. The listing photos seemed to be during the cabin’s prime.

We are honestly appalled by this review. The description provided is wildly inaccurate, deeply misleading, and simply does not reflect the reality of our property—nor the experience of the countless respectful guests who have stayed and left glowing feedback.
Our eco-friendly composting system is exactly as described in the listing, and is consistently well-reviewed by those who appreciate a unique and sustainable farm stay. Our cabins are carefully cleaned and stocked before every guest’s arrival, with fresh linens, supplies, and amenities provided. The suggestion otherwise is simply untrue.
What’s most disappointing is the disrespect shown toward both our staff and the effort we put into creating a warm, welcoming experience for every guest. While the vast majority of our visitors treat the property and team with kindness, unfortunately, not all do.
We stand by the quality and cleanliness of our farm and accommodations, as evidenced by the many honest 5-star reviews from guests who genuinely enjoyed their time here.
