Vakantiewoning goed, jammer van gasten in het andere appartement. Deze gasten hadden niet het fatsoen ook nog aan andere mensen te denken. Gooien met deuren, erg luid spreken, midden in de nacht thuis komen en dan niet begrijpen dat bovenstaande in een huis dat erg doorklinkt, zodanig dat de verhuurder dat ook hoorde. Nogmaals moet het worden gezegd dat het appartement aan alle verwachtingen en eisen voldoet.

Belle localisation

Logement parfait pour deux personnes. Excellente localisation à la fois pour la vue sur la montagne et le glacier mais aussi au centre du village par sa proximité avec magasins et restaurants. Le caractère assez ancien du mobilier et des équipements de cuisine et de salle de bain ne dérange pas du tout car tout fonctionne bien. De toute façon, la vie se passe à l'extérieur :-)

Superbe vue et emplacement !

Petit studio très bien aménagé pour 2 personnes. Nous avons passé 4 jours au top avec notre chienne. La literie est bien, l’emplacement est plus que super, à 300m a pied du centre ville, nous n’avons pas repris la voiture de tout le séjour ! Hôte très accueillante Et surtout.. une vue incroyable depuis le studio qui bénéficie d’une petite terrasse et d’un jardin. On recommande !!

Prachtig uitzicht en vlakbij centrum

Vanuit het appartement kijk je zo uit op de Eiger. Prachtig! Het is er ook heerlijk rustig en stil. Verder kun je zo vanuit het appartement een mooie wandeling maken. De skilift - First ligt op loopafstand. Bushaltes, skiverhuur en supermarkt zijn ook nabij. Wat wil een mens nog meer?! Bij sneeuw, zijn sneeuwkettingen wel aan te raden, aangezien de woning wat lager ligt dan de hoofdweg.

A lovely view of mountains

The apartment is well equipped for 2 people and was very clean and comfortable and had a wonderful view of the mountains. We were made very welcome. The road up to Grindelwald is quite steep in places and I found it convenient to leave my skis and boots at a ski depot close to the bus and railway station.

Spectacular view

The highlight of the stay was the view of the mountains, both from the windows in the house and the accessible backyard. The apartment itself was a bit small and could really use some updating. Would have been nice if some basics were provided (coffee, salt, oil, etc...) Downtown was relatively close, albeit straight uphill. The host was very nice.

A Great Place to take on rent in summer

I stayed with my family over a week during May and travelled to all places we wanted to visit in Switzerland. The house is at just 10 minutes walk from Grindelwald station. You should be fit walk on slopping road connecting to the main street. If you want to enjoy Grindelwald and Switzerland in winter this slope could be a trouble, if you are not prepared for it. A perfect location for summer stay in Grindelwald.
