So disappointed.

I was so excited about this place. When we first got there it looked great. Upon further inspection, there was a very dirty towel and hair in the bed. But the worst was that when my husband went to sit on the couch a mouse ran out from underneath and went underneath the fireplace. We understand this is a woodsy area but come on. There was mouse poop under and around the couch as well as by the door and fireplace. We looked underneath and there was a mouse trap with a dead mouse that had been there a while. We called the emergency line and someone did come with a trap and vacuum. But they said they’d come back to put the new trap in and take the old one out. They never did. We also requested new towels and toilet paper because we only had half a roll. It took all day to get the towels and didn’t even bring us toilet paper so we had to go buy our own. Very disappointed.

I'm so sorry to hear that you had these issues, Jessica. We do everything we can to help keep the woodland creatures outside, but there is always one or two that get around us. We definitely should have reset that trap for you and I do apologize so much for that. I'm also sorry that you did not get all of the items that you requested. If you had alerted the office that you did not receive everything that you asked for, we would have rushed it over to you. Our housekeeping does wait until after the 3pm check in time to do requests, as they are busy getting the days arrivals ready for the other guests. However, if we know its an urgent situation, we will rush it over right then. We do hope you come back to see us and give us a chance to make your next stay much better!
