A Home Away from Home in the Quaint Village of New Glarus

This privately owned brick house has been a family treasure. The home features original oak trim, cabinetry and flooring. The floor tile in the foyer and upstairs bathroom are all inlaid and original. Furnishings and decor make the home cozy and inviting. This house is able to accomodate family or friend gatherings and reunions, yet offer quiet time and relaxation.
There is a large front open porch for visiting with family and friends or sipping your favorite beverage. The back yard is spacious and guests can enjoy a meal on the patio or a sit next to the fire pit.
Located in the rolling hills of southern Wisconsin, the village of New Glarus hosts several festivals throughout the year. Visitors can enjoy the ethnic foods and local entertainment. The guest house is located within walking distance of the downtown area which offers shopping and many fine Swiss/German restaurants. The Sugar River Bike Trail is also located near the guest house as is the popular New Glarus Brewery.

We just had a girls weekend here - we had 11 ladies and had more than enough space to sleep & hang out. The house is adorable and so much fun to explore! Very spacious with plenty of seating for a large group.

We loved spending the night here - there are so many beds and spaces to explore! It was a little tight in the morning with only two bathrooms, but we made it work. We’ll DEFINITELY stay here again!

Beautiful Home In a Great Neighborhood!!

This is a beautiful older home in a great neighborhood. It’s very spacious and had everything we needed for a wonderful girls’ trip. The check out process was one of the easiest we have ever done. The house is very close to the quaint and fun downtown area, with shops, restaurants, and bars.

Awesome Accommodations

This is a beautiful home that was perfect for our book club 25th anniversary trip. There were six of us and there were plenty of bedrooms, beds and seating areas for all of us to enjoy spending a couple days together. We enjoyed the shops and restaurants of New Glarus and ventured to other small towns in the area. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely, well-maintained house with several comfortable seating areas. Overall a very comfortable and clean home. Located within a few blocks of restaurants, bars and a coffee house.

Relaxing girls weekend

Took a quick two night getaway trip with my mom and we had a blast. The house was beautiful and extremely clean, there was ample sleeping room, and it had everything we could have possibly needed. We will definitely be booking here again and truly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful historic home!

A fun location with 91 year old mom and her kids. Home we stayed at was absolutely perfect. All amenities, home, grounds, town the best! I would stay a Thurs-Sunday as restaurants were closed. Would highly recommend!!

Weekend visit
