New apartment with a magnificent view of the Tagus River and Lisbon. Ideally located near the historic district, on Santana Hill. Very close to the historic areas: Bairro Alto, Chiado, Graça, Rossio, and Alfama. Tastefully decorated (renovated in early 2013); quiet area with little traffic. Many typical restaurants and small, affordable shops in the area; more upscale options in the surrounding areas.

We had a lovely five week stay in the apartment. It was so well situated for all our adventures. Marisa was a wonderful and patient host - always speedy in her response to our questions and minor issues. The views from the terrace are more beautiful than the photos and you can’t beat looking at the lot up castle out the top bedroom window and bathroom. We would definitely rent from Marisa again.

Lovely apartment with terraces/balcony to sit out in the evening. Central but quiet location. Marissa was a lovely host and was there to meet us when we arrived. Having two bathrooms was ideal as we were a family with teenagers. Would definitely recommend.

The views from the apartment are stunning. It made the effort of walking up the hill and the stairs worthwhile. It also helped that there is a supermarket 10 min walk away, also up the hill. Marisa was very helpful and kept in touch on our arrival day. The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed. We all enjoyed our time in Lisbon and at the apartment.

We loved the property especially the deck where we spent our evenings. The property is close to everything. Two small grocery stories within a block was very convenient for picking up fruit and snacks.Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

This property is perfect to match our big family ( 5 people). The apartment is closed to the city of Lisbon. It is easy access to different tour and shopping areas. The host is really nice to provide all information written down in a notebook. We have a marvelous time in Lisbon.

Thi is a fantastic 2 storey Apartment with wonderful views over Lisbon. Everything was very clean and worked well. It's very close to the main square and station. The only issue we had was the road down to the square (which is very steep) was quite dirty with lots of litter and rubbish. We were suprised at the amount of rubbish on surrounding streets.

Marisa was very kind in meeting us and showing us around the apartment and helping with amenities. The space was large and the beds were comfortable. We had a wonderful view of the city and the river and even were able to enjoy the balcony one day during our stay. ( As it rained a lot during our visit.)The area was quiet and the little shops nearby were great for grabbing groceries. Overall a great place to stay and we would love to visit again!

The property was very clean and newly renovated with a very spacious living and dining area for the six of us. We really enjoyed having the deck and the beautiful views. You can see many of Lisbon’s landmarks from the deck. The hostess was very responsive and helpful in showing the unit’s amenities and accommodated us for a later check in. We also greatly appreciated the bottle of wine that she left for us. Be prepared to get in your steps because the unit is on the third floor with many stairs, but once you see the view it is all worth, but pack lighter than I did!

Marisa was a gracious host. Explained evrerything about the apt, gave directions to both mini-marts and the closest, larger Pingo Doce, the route to Rossio and even recommended a restaurant for lunch in Sintra. There was a problem with the heating unit, which she addressed very quickly and to our complete satisfaction. Would unreservedly recommend this property to anyone looking for accommodations close to Rossio/ old city center.

This was a very nice property. Marissa, our host,met us at the property early which made it really convenient for us. The apartment was exceedingly clean and was well appointed. Please be aware that the but is really nice in the evening after the sun goes down is on the third floor and you have to take your luggage up three flights of stairs which would be hard if you are mobility impaired. There is air conditioning in the main room on the first floor and in the two upstairs bedrooms there is one air conditioner in the room with a full size bed. There is one bedroom on the main floor and two bedrooms upstairs with bathrooms on both floors. The balcony is very nice especially for using for morning coffee when the sun is not blazing down on you. Realize the balcony faces west and in the afternoon is pretty toasty, Marissa was a lovely host and I highly recommend staying at this very conveniently located apartment in central Lisbon.

We were very satisfied with this apartment. It is very spacious, and our family of five stayed very comfortably. The apartment is well equipped and has everything you need. Lilliana was extremely friendly and gave us a very thorough introduction. The location is excellent—within just a few minutes’ walk to major attractions. The apartment also has several balconies with great views. Highly recommended!

Marisa met us at the apartment to greet us, explain everything about the apartment, and even left us with a bottle of wine. We were fortunate to be able to check in early. The apartment was perfect for our two couples. It was impressively clean and well-stocked. The views from the windows and balconies were amazing. We found the location to be ideal -- close to everything and quiet for sleeping. We enjoyed a couple of nearby restaurants: Costa & Travassos and Verde Minho, and found a lovely craftshop: Gira Ventos. We highly recommend this apartment and its wonderful host.
