Great location but needs improvement
The location was spectacular. Quiet neighborhood walking distance to Chambers. The Chambers pool pass and shuttle access was awesome. The ac in the family room and upstairs bedrooms was awesome and the layout was nice with a large entryway to leave shoes, beach bags, etc. While the location and Chambers access were awesome amenities there were several issues we had with the cabin. The master bedroom upstairs had an old rug with curled up edges that was a tripping hazard for our older parents so we had to move it out of the way for the stay. There was a set of 6 lamps in the bedrooms and not one of them worked. Several were on bedstands with no outlet within reach of them and the ones that were plugged in did not work. This left one light for the two downstairs bedrooms (and one of these lights had several bulbs that were out). There was a constant stream of carpenter ants in the kitchen and the upstairs bedroom. When we were stripping the bed we found several in the sheets. We actually contacted the manager about this and he offered to send someone out to spray but we didn't want to deal with that on vacation. The barbecue was locked with a combination lock. We reached out to the manager for the combo and never received a response so we couldn't use it. Several of the outside chairs were unstable and couldn't be used. The sectional in the living room was very odd. It almost seemed like the cushions were for a different couch. The two pieces of it were not attached and would separate. The downstairs bathroom door or floor was warped and we could not close the door without it making a horribly loud sound. The ceiling fan upstairs was covered in so much dust I told the kids not to use it. There were lots of cobwebs so it made us a little uneasy about how clean the rest of the house was. After reading prior reviews it seems like some of these issues have been ongoing which is unfortunate given the nice location and neighborhood.

Looking for …
As a family, we’re always in a lookout for a yard to play/sled on the snow. This one has a limit of 10 feet. We don’t want to bother the neighbors.

Nice place with a great view in a quiet neighborhood
Over all the stay was good. Good location and freshly cleaned when we arrived. We'll stocked. Some small details overlooked is the reason for the 4 stars. No wash clothes for the bathrooms, no new sponge for washing dishes (old dried up one under sink), no pot holders for the oven, and stains on the couch. Lifted up the cushions and food and dirt underneath. The place has great potential to be 5 stars. Management was great to respond quickly wanting to rectify things. No fault of the management, a bear broke into our car to get cough drops. It bent down the window frame of our Honda Pilot door and broke the window. Don't leave any food in your car! Neighbor across the street was kind and tried to scare them off.

Tahoe house with lake view
The property was well situated to sugar pine point. It has an great view of the lake. The kitchen equipment could have been better and there were only two kitchen towels for a whole week. When we arrived there were towel in and thwasher and dryer and the washer had quite midway thru the cycle . After 4 days finally got it to work. The Vacasa customer service was responsive and helpful, but we never saw or heard from the local support. Despite this a great stay!

Nice home for a large family
The house was comfortable and clean. The neighborhood is very nice and close to the lake. Great deck with a partial view of the lake. AC is needed in the bottom bedrooms since they get very warm.

Dirty and Deserted
This property hadnt been used in months maybe a year. It had cobwebs everywhere, food (Doritos chips) on the upstairs floor, the vents had in bathrooms were filthy, there was no extra garbage bags, the outside deck had not been swept, the tarp was still over patio furniture since winter snow, there was a broken habachi grill laying in corner of deck, the coffee maker was the most disgusting appliance i had ever seen. Coffee maker looked like it had never been cleaned and when I pulled out the filter cartridge it had mold growing on it. We could not use the coffee maker so i had to purchase ready made coffee. The pool passes were no were to be found and inatructions to ask Chambers Landing Grill were ineffective as everyone we asked could not give us a straight answer. We never got to use the pool. The neighborhood itself is pleasant, there is a small view of the lake from the back deck. The rooms are sparce, not enough luggage racks and do not put suitcase on the floor because of all the spiders and large ants that come inside. We were gone most days all day as i could not bare to relax in such filthy conditions. The property management did speak with me on my first day but only apologized and offered to come and pick up broken grill. I am very disappointed and requested at least to be compted one night refund for my troubles of extra coffee purchase and getting garbage bags, sweeping deck and uncovering and cleaning off patio furniture. I should not have to do their job.

Family winter vacation
Kitchen dishes were few such as coffee mugs, And the oven racks weren’t stable. Minimal seating space in the main sitting area. No internet duration of stay. It was a nice size for our large family and we enjoyed the location

Flicker Retreat
Lovely location and view of the lake. Clean & simple decor. But lacking basics like fireplace tools and salt & pepper. There was a large pile of debris off the back deck. Missing light bulbs or burned out light bulbs in fixtures. No pass for homeowners beach. Funny most of this review has items mentioned in previous reviews from 2021 but nothing seems to change.

Relaxing vacation
We had a great experience! The house had beautiful views from the deck and the membership to the Chamberlands private pool and beach was definitely a bonus. The only con to this place is that if you like/ want to cook you’ll have to bring all your own spices and food storage containers. Overall, this was a great place!

Perfect Family Getaway at Chamberlands!
There is so much to love about this property! The deck with lake view and extended dining table were perfect for our group of 10 (8 adults/2 toddlers). The interior spaces were freshly decorated, spotlessly clean, and the linens were luxurious. There were plenty of towels/bath products in the large bathrooms. Items like laundry soap/dish/dishwasher soap were plentiful. In the handy entryway with a bench, beach towels with beach bags were provided. The kitchen was nicely stocked with plates/cups/pots/pans/utensils but bring any spices/olive oil etc. There is only s & p on hand. We also loved the location! The pass to the Chambers Landing club is a plus but the pool and beach bar close down typically at the end of September so we just missed that window. Need to know: there is a lovely fireplace but wood is not included. There is a small market nearby but for larger grocery needs best to shop in Tahoe City or South Shore before hitting West Shore. The bear situation is REAL!! Lock your car doors and leave absolutely NO food/gum or even wrappers in your car. The bears are smart, with a keen sense of smell, and they know how to open car doors we saw them do this twice with neighbor cars. They are NOT careful with exterior/interior auto finishes so don't tempt them. The Flicker Retreat is stylish, spacious and nicely laid out for family time as well as privacy. We made some special memories here and we hope to return again in the near future.

Great house for our larger family stay!
This house was great, it really fit our larger family well. Clean, photos were accurate, everything worked, and very responsive to questions. We had grandparent in master bedroom, 4 teens in bonus room that had 4 beds, and two couples in each first floor bedroom. Really great place. In reading previous reviews, here is our experience: All beds are queen size Air conditioning in each room Enjoyed the grill and huge patio table Coffee filters provided Plenty of shampoo, soap, shampoo Beach towels available Laundry and dishwasher detergent a plenty Notes: - Only 9 plates, used dishwasher after every meal (request host doubles plates!) - Microwave IS dorm room size, but it fits in its nook and not sure a bigger one would work on counter space - Bears, in our car, on back patio. Keep vehicle locked, food locked away, and be aware - no condiments, spices, oils (ok , just good to know) - no garage, so locked bikes together on back patio Highly recommend!

Great $400 a night home, not $900
They didn’t have the house cleaned when we arrived. They didn’t have the fridge cold. The kitchen lacked proper utensils and didn’t even have small plates. And the worst part is the the two downstairs bedrooms don’t have ceiling lights. And no bedside lamps. So you can’t even see when walking in the room. This house should never have been $900 a night. Great at $400. Not $900.

Nice Clean Property in a Quiet beautiful Neighborhood
Nice Clean and Quiet Neighborhood. Well appointed home just 2 streets from the lake and you have a good view of lake from the house though there are homes in between this property and lake. Very clean and well maintained property, great for multi family vacation. Great mudroom for shoes and skiis. Plenty of supplies like towels, comforters and every essentials needed such as vacuum, brooms, Washer & Dryer etc Things that can change: Bed sizes & Microwave size :-) They only have full beds in all the rooms including the master. Only one room downstairs had a Queen. The microwave was so tiny that even the plates provided in the house couldn't go in. Would recommend a MW change and adding more plates and bowls

Nicely remodeled Home
Pros: - Nice modern decor - Clean and cozy - Rooms were spacious and plenty of beds - Clean towels and linens - Plenty of Shampoos/Conditioner - Close to the Lake - Quiet neighborhood - Heaters in most rooms Cons: - Experienced a water leak coming down the hallway light from the upstairs shower. (Called Customer service and maintenance responded that he will fix but never heard back if leak was fixed) - Spotted some spiders and ants roaming around. - Kitchen lacked supplies (paper towels/spices) - Pass for the beach was no where to be found and had to delayed beach trip to wait for call back from customer service. (Customer Service called back 2 hours later and informed me that Pass to use beach/tennis is not in season). Wish List: - Wished the Master bedroom had a King Size bed with the amount of space there was. - Wished the home provided more games to play with family. - Wished the house came with instructions on where to find and work things around the home. (Such as operate the 2 remote for the home) - Wished the microwave was a lot bigger to use a regular size plate to heat up for for family of 6.
