About this property

Escape to Pure Luxury with the Entire Family, w/Hot Tub, Chef's Kitchen - Blue Sky Ridge

"Blue Sky Ridge" The home sits atop a ridge overlooking white-capped mountains and the river and valley below. There are mountain views and space for multiple couples or the extended family. With the large private Master Suite on the third floor and the private suite on the first floor which has its own kitchen/dining/living/full bath area, you can enjoy each other and still have time to retreat and relax. The main area features a large living space with breathtaking views. The chef's kitchen and spacious dining room also have fantastic views. There are two more bedrooms and a bath on the main level. The Hot Tub is only one of the great outdoor features, add the outdoor dining area, propane fire pit and seating, picnic area and treed acreage, you may never want to leave Blue Sky Ridge!

The Great Room has floor to ceiling windows looking out on the Central Rockies from multiple windows. There is a large seating area with a rock fireplace and smart television, if you can bring yourself to look away from the fantastic views. You can play on the shuffleboard and set up a tournament for family and friends. With the open floor plan on the main floor you can flow from one area to the next. Right outside the double doors is the covered outdoor eating area and the spacious seating with firepit to enjoy on the deck.
Wander into the dining area with its custom table and row of windows to take in the great outdoors. This table is large enough for multiple games and puzzles to be done while creations in the kitchen are being made. The central island has an extra seating room, but also another place to help with meal preparation. Seating a group of 11 to 13 people is easy with all of this room. In the kitchen you have top of the line equipment. This kitchen is for those who enjoy the art of creating meals and it is large enough for you to have many helpers....just need to have the head chef established ahead of time. Right off the back of the kitchen during the summer and fall month the propane grill is waiting for the delicious grilled meals. During the winter months the grill is moved to the covered front deck eating area.

On this main level there are two bedrooms. The queen bedroom with luxurious bedding and plenty of closet and drawer space, along with the aspen right outside will give you a sleep in the woods feel, but camping was never this comfortable. Next door is the bunk bed room. There is a queen bed and a twin on top. Entertainment with a flat screen television and places to lounge for the younger set. Both bedrooms are close to the full bath that has a walk-in shower and everything you need for a good night's rest.
Going up to the Master Suite you will have another private area to lounge and rest with the small loft area. Inside the suite please enjoy the king bed that has the luxurious bedding and comfortable seating area by the windows that look out over the mountains and woods. There is a walk-in closet and large dresser to store all of your vacation needs. Entering the large master bathroom you can soak in the jacuzzi tub or take a long shower in the walk-in shower. With double sinks and an enclosed toilet area, both of you can get ready for the day and use the area at the same time. This private suite can be a haven for the evening!

On the first floor is a suite that has everything you need. There is a comfortable kitchen with a full size refrigerator, and a dining area that blends into the living room. There you can kick up your feet and watch your favorite shows on the flat-screen television provided. Through the arch is the Queen bedroom with luxurious bedding and full bathroom. The walk-in shower makes it easy to take a quick rinse before heading out the back door to the hot tub!

This home keeps giving places and spaces for everyone to enjoy. Outside is the large hot tub, you can come down from the main floor two different ways, or go directly from the first floor suite. By the hot tub are multiple lounging chairs to enjoy the view of Pikes peak and South Park. Around the corner from the hot tub is another seating area with yet another view of mountains and blue sky. Below is the picnic area for the young and old at heart. You can explore the tree acreage and climb behind the home to yet another viewing area.

The house is as looks in the pictures. The views are nothing short of amazing. Pros: plenty of space Views Hot tub House is clean Beds are comfy The downstairs suite is a bonus Cons: jacuzzi tub jets were not working Minimal pans for cooking Hair dryer didn't work Clothes dryer took forever and barely dried Overall the home is great The Driveway: great for sledding. Horrible for an actual driveway. If it wasn't covered in ice, it was a mud slide. The altitude of this house is definitely something to consider if you are coming from flat land lol. Kids never adjusted and ended up leaving a day early. With every remedy in hand nothing worked and we did get snowed in (driveway was never plowed) so we couldn't get them down to lower elevation. The drive over to Breckinridge isn't bad as long as the weather is decent since you have to cross the Summit pass Cute little grocery store in Alma for necessities

Winter Wonderland
This property is EXACTLY as the pictures and description state. It is in a very secluded area and the drive way is slightly steep, we have a all wheel drive suburban and I was still scared driving on the icey driveway. But other than that the house is amazing. There was a lot of beautiful wildlife that we were able to take pictures of and the views 😍. I definitely will stay again. !

Absolutely Perfect!!
You cannot ask for a better home to stay in! The house has everything you need and then some. The living room is perfect for movies with the family and the kitchen great for those who love to cook. Best of all are the amazing views from pretty much every room in the house. We enjoyed playing games while watching the snow fall and hot chocolate by the fire pit. The location is perfect for those who don't want to be in a tourist town, but have them a short drive away.

Hilltop retreat
The location was perfect. The views were great. Spacious house with all the needed amenities. Quick to respond. The driveway is as others posted, difficult. We had about a 6-8” snowstorm the day before we left and we’re really concerned with how we’d get down safely. With snow chains though and driving in 1 low we had minimal sliding. The kids sled down the driveway which was great. Sledding right out the front door. Great house and location. We took the kids on a hike through the woods after it snowed and came across 3 deer within 40’ and a tiny field mouse. The hot tub was also a great feature while it was snowing.
