"The Timbers" at Glacier Ridge is a beautiful full log vacation home that is less than 25 miles from Breckenridge Ski Resort and all the dining and shopping a world-class resort offers - not to mention world-class downhill skiing. The home is located on a very heavily wooded lot with Spruce, Pine and Aspen trees. There are gorgeous views of the Continental Divide from the deck and almost every window in the home. There is a private hot tub too!

The great room has a huge stone wood-burning fireplace for a cozy true mountain experience. There is a flat screen TV mounted on the fireplace with satellite programming. wireless internet is also provided. The floor-to-ceiling windows frame the gorgeous view of the snow-capped peaks. The modern kitchen includes everything you need to make your stay comfortable and worry-free. There is a large dining area that seats 8-10 in addition to a very large island with seating as well. There are 4 full bedrooms in the home. The primary suite has a king bed and a private bath with a huge walk-in closet. A flat screen TV is provided. The second bedroom on the main level has a queen bed and a bathroom next door. The third bedroom on the upper floor has a king size bed and a private half bath. The fourth bedroom is in the lowest level with a king bed and a bathroom next door. There is a great play area for kids in the loft where they can put their sleeping bags and hang out.

Downstairs there is a second huge living/recreation room with a wall of windows - all framing the white-capped peaks of the Continental Divide. It is breath-taking. There is a second beautiful stone fireplace that is gas. There is a separate pool room with a full-size pool table. There is also a foosball table. The room has lots of comfortable seating and a large flat screen TV on the fireplace with satellite programming. The laundry room is on the main level and has an additional half bath. There are a total of 3 full baths and two half baths. The home has a private hot tub. There is a Wind River Therapeutic Hot Tub It is gorgeous as are the amazing views from the hot tub.

Every imaginable activity is within minutes of this home. National Forest access is less than a mile away with many trails for ATVs, dirt bikes, 4 wheeling, hiking, and biking. The entire Fairplay and Alma area is well known for its easy access to some of the best fishing, hiking, hunting, and skiing in Colorado. There are five 14ers in the area for those that want a challenging hike as well as great family hikes. Fly fish on the Middle Fork of the South Platte River or fish Montgomery Reservoir. Drive to the top of Hoosier Pass for a day of sledding/tubing. The old 1800's town of South Park is also very near the home in Fairplay. It is a fun and educational way to spend the day.

The quaint Victorian Ski Resort of Breckenridge is only 25 miles away and offers skiing, snowboarding, dining and entertainment for every age. The streets are lined with unique shops all in a Victorian design. Breckenridge is one of the most picturesque towns in Colorado. If you love shopping at outlet malls, Silverthorn if only a 40 mile drive and has a huge assortment of outlets.
