Great getaway
Overall we loved our time away. The house was truly isolated at the top of a big hill with a really nice view of the mountains and circled by giant trees. You felt like you were in a forest. The house had everything we needed for the stay. We grilled most of the nights and loved eating in the open dining area. The pool was really amazing, you feel like you are swimming in the woods, but in a really beautiful pool. The house was well stocked with all the basics and well as pots, pans, silverware, knives, etc. There is a great grocery store about 25 minutes away (Guidos) and we brought lots of food for the grill and cooked in most nights. The house is close to New Marlborough , but not much there ,(or we missed it). Great Barrington is a bit farther, but has all you need and is a great little town. The owners were away but incredibly responsive and helpful. There is great hiking nearby and its an amazing place to escape from the city. Our kids loved the place and especially the pool,
