Very roomy and enjoyed our stay there. The only downside was the gas fireplace wouldn't stay lit. It would flash flames then go out. Never had a steady fire. Also, the side window near the front door was damaged and wouldn't shut all the way.

Comfortable House.

This was our third stay at this house. No view of the ocean but it is close to the beach. It is also within easy walking distance of town. We like Longbeach because everything is close together and you don't need to drive long distances. We found good restaurants too.

Great Location- pet friendly!

This cottage is in the best location. Quick walk into town and the beach. We were looking for a place that allows 3 dogs and it’s very rare to find place! This house is definitely set up to be a fun party house with lots of friends or family but it was perfect for a short weekend get away with my 3 senior dogs to show them the beach. The cottage is in pretty rough shape the only thing I’d recommend is lowing the pet fee or atleast making it refundable. The pet fees are very high and the cottage is already pretty damaged inside that I doubt a pet would do anymore damage. Overall great stay. Would definitely recommend.

Fun Beach House

Really enjoyed the pool & air hockey tables!! 2 bathrooms are down stairs but all 3 bedrooms, the sleeping loft are upstairs (along with 1 bathroom) ... had I realized this, I would've chosen a different house as we needed 1 room on the ground floor. But this home is really spacious and can sleep 9 people easily!! If you're a "walker", it's walking distance from the beach and 5 blocks from downtown. Bring your beaching equipment as there are no beach chairs, umbrellas, towels (that i could find). Longbeach is so much fun, and this house made it even more so. We had a great time.

Tinker House Cottage

This is the second time I’ve stayed here and it will be the last! This house was filthy! The carpets have stains everywhere and smell of urine. We spent the first day of our trip washing bedding because the beds were made but not clean. The dishes in the cabinet had dried on food. This could be a great beach rental, but not worth having to do the cleaning yourself and still be charged a cleaning fee!

Poor Communication

Had an issue with our reservation and was bounced around between several people. Each one offering to help but then was informed last minute that they couldn’t help us. We ended up booking another rental which costed us a lot of extra money.

Super fun

Great stay great games, pool table fun but there was no puck for fuseball. Fun kites, we had to clean bar b q, but that was fine. The funny thing was the towns fire alarm went off. My 40 year old daughter came and said the Tsunami warning is going off so we went down stairs saying what do we do dang we were pretty scared. I finally said give me the non emergency number. I called and found out that was a fire alarm. I went back to bed and my husband said well how long do we have to live, he didn’t even get out of bed lol. Great stay the Boyles Family.

Things to watch for....

Great pool table and Foose ball! Air hockey is old and doesn't work well. The table needs to be redone for the devices and puck to move properly. Watch for the rug at the entrance to the living room. It's curled up and is a tripping hazard. Also many hooks linen racks, shelves and toilet paper roll holders are coming out of the wall. Thwy are not secured in studs or have Molly's. The place is clean, great beds, the pull out downstairs is very comfortable. Watch out for miscetos, they are crazy out there. Overall great stay!

This cottage shares a property with the main house, but there’s plenty of space between the two, and it’s only about a 10–15 minute walk to the water. Inside, the layout is open and family-friendly, with a great room that includes a game area, TV room, dining space, and kitchen. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything we needed. Downstairs there’s a half bath and a full bath (the tub worked great, though the shower wasn’t functioning). Upstairs, there’s a cozy loft with a daybed and three bedrooms—one with twin beds, another with a queen, and the master with a king. The laundry room upstairs is combined with a full bathroom, which was convenient for our group. What we loved: • Great location, close to town and the beach. • Open layout with lots of space for families. • Fully stocked kitchen, perfect for cooking at home. Things to be aware of: • The refrigerator was a bit noisy and leaking onto floor of kitchen (maintenance assured us it was scheduled to be serviced). • Some wear and tear around the house—broken blinds, windows that didn’t shut properly(the cranks were missing to open/close ), and older carpet. • The upstairs bathroom shower could use some attention . This isn’t a “glam” or newly renovated property, but it was very spacious and worked really well for our families with kids. If you’re looking for comfort, convenience, and room to spread out (rather than luxury finishes), this is a solid choice. We would book again if traveling with another family
