Located on the fifth floor of the Brandywine House Building, this family-friendly retreat features all the comforts of a home while still providing that novel beach resort vibe. You'll love having access to a private beach, 12 pools, world-class tennis courts, a basketball court, fitness centers, a sauna, and a community shuttle.

Start your mornings off right with a cup of coffee out on the private oceanfront balcony. Inside, the main living area boasts comfortable furniture strategically located near a large TV. The kitchen comes equipped with everything you need to prepare savory meals and snacks. The bedroom provides ample sprawling space and loads of natural lighting, ensuring that you're always comfortable and content.

Went in the off-season so outdoor pools were closed but that also meant no crowds or parking issues which was fine! Good location and everything you need in a small condo.

The bed was comfortable. The dresser had a musty smell in the drawers so I kept my clothes in my suitcase. While walking on the floors barefoot I had to clean my feet before getting into bed.

The unit was very clean and not sure on a previous review that a quest said the building blocked the beach, because the view was perfect. You can hear the waves from the deck. Great unit! Would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful view of ocean. Clean. The only issues we had was that the preview photos show a recliner chair in the Unit but there was not. We based our decision on renting this unit because of that as my mom is unable to sleep in a bed so unfortunately will not be renting this unit again. The dryer was also very noisy.

Wow!

Unit has been updated with new flooring and some furniture. Feels much more modern and cleaner than the photos. We cooked most of our meals and found the kitchen to be fully stocked. We didn’t have the problem with TP and paper towels that other reviewers had. I was mostly VERY impressed with the property. It was absolutely spotless at all times. Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful when we had questions. There are a ton of events on site so there is never a real reason to have to get in your car. Really convenient for those of us who have small kids (btw, a few of the pools have gated kiddie pools which was a nice surprise). We did eat at two restaurants that were within walking distance: Bethany boathouse and Cottage Cafe. Both were fabulous. I would absolutely return here and will be recommending Sea Colony to all my friends!

Great location, but dated unit

Property was in a great location and kept very clean. Being so close to.the beach and ealking to the boardwalk was pretty quick. Communication was very easy and whomever was monitoing texts was super responsive. I really appreciated the many EV charging stations. The unit itself was quite dated. The bathroom was cramped with low popcorn ceilings. Soap and shampoo conditioner were provided. Kitchen had the basics, but no tissues or sponge to wash dishes. At a minimum some tissues, no extra TP either. Carpeting was quite stained.

Good view. Nice sized balcony. Biggest issue is moldy caulk in shower. Yes it needs to be updated but simple touches could make the unit better. Recaulk the shower and add new bedding and pillows.

Nice apartment with semi obstructed view

Sea Colony is a nice complex and the apartment is nice and was clean. The issues I had with the lower ratings are: -There are 2 story condos in front of the building that partially obstruct the view - good to know before renting. - The management company, Vacasa, is NOT on tope of their game. They did not tell me because they didn't know (but it IS their responsibility to know) that the building's garage was fully under construction at the time. The building had construction going on but they never told me. They said they sent out emails but I did not get one. The notices on the elevator said that a full day of my vacation, the entire building's electricity may be shut off. No one had any idea about it and if it was happening. I spent quite a lot of time on my first night there on the phone with Vacasa to try to get clarity. They are not on top of their game and wasted my first day of vacation dealing with their lack of managemnt details where I should have been relaxing. I will not be doing business with them again.

Budget friendly 1 bed

Accommodations were fine for a budget friendly one bed on the oceanfront. This was my second time staying at this unit, and again had an issue upon getting into the unit- there was no running water, toilet in bedroom half bath was not working properly, and the unit had not been cleaned prior to my arrival. Carpets have seen better days, as have the master bed and bath fixtures, and wallpaper throughout the unit. If considering this unit just for sleeping, it would be a good fit for someone not looking to spend a fortune while still enjoying the benefits of a Sea Colony beachfront rental.

508 Brandywine review

I loved that it was oceanfront and the private half bath was great and there was just enough space for the four of us with the pullout couch. My main reason for rating it at only three stars is because the home needs some updating in the bathrooms and overall there were quite a few things as far as cleaning goes that I don’t really understand what my cleaning deposit was for since so many things were not attended to prior to our arrival and it is sad that we are paying for a service we didn’t really receive.
