Palafox Perfection, Sleeps 5
This loft overlooks Palafox Street in the very heart of historic downtown Pensacola. Others may say they are “ downtown”, but my apartments are truly in the very heart of downtown’s vibrant entertainment district. The balcony overlooks the parade route.
We have Private gated parking , a rare find in downtown Pensacola. Parking is for paid guests only.
This building was commissioned by Francisco Mareno in 1870. The owner has lovingly restored the beautiful brick walls and hardwood floors. There is a private queen size bedroom, a queen bed in the skylight room, and a new queen sofa sleeper in the living room. The living room features a new Vizio TV . The spacious walk in shower is large and comfortable. There is also a new full-size washer and dryer, ironing board and iron, and lots of extra touches to make your stay comfortable.
From the comfort of your apartment you can walk to over 40 restaurants. The famous Saenger Theatre is right next door. It’s an easy stroll to the Maritime Park, home to the Blue Wahoos, the AA affiliate of the Miami Marlins. Enjoy an outdoor concert on the bay at the Maritime Park amphitheater or a stroll through Veterans Memorial Park. The new $15million dollar YMCA is just a block to the east. Every Saturday, just two blocks north is the Palafox Market, an open air treasure trove of arts & crafts , fresh baked breads, farm raised meats, vegetables, coffees and much more. Major festivals are held in Seville Square just 4 short blocks away.

The owner Deborah Dunlap is a local author, publisher, & historian who has published 15 books utilizing her vast collection of historic Pensacola photographs. She has preserved numerous iconic buildings in downtown Pensacola . She has been named one of Pensacola’s Visionaries by the Independent News, one of Northwest Florida’s top 25 most powerful women by Climate Business Magazine, one of Florida‘s People To Watch by Florida Trend Magazine. Deborah sits on the Board of Directors of the Pensacola Humane Society and served three terms as a director on the Downtown Improvement Board by mayoral appointment. Deborah is a member of Warrington Methodist Church and enjoys traveling the world and entertaining at home.
