We are located on the third level of Kihei Akahi’s quiet, desirable, ‘D’ building away from the hum of South Kihei Road yet still an easy five-minute stroll to Kamaole 2 – one of Maui’s best beaches (the beach chairs are waiting for you in the condo). Our lanai offers a grand panoramic view stretching southwest to northwest. Wine & Dine with a loved one while admiring the scenic beauty. Romantic perfection!

The Kihei area features a variety of fun-filled activities such as snorkeling, surfing lessons, luaus, and lazy days on the beach, just to name a few. What's more, Kihei Akahi truly is the center of it all with preeminent beaches, wonderful restaurants, world-class golf, and shopping all close by.

Wonderful stay in Maui!

This is a very cozy and comfortable stay for your getaway in Maui. The location is very convenient with lots to do just minutes within walking distance. There’s also multiple beaches for easy access with a great view for sunset.

We loved staying at Diane's condo! It is a 2 minute walk from the beach and also very central to the whole island! There was also everything you could need for the beach- a cooler, towels, boogie boards, beach chairs, and an umbrella. We loved staying here and can't wait to come back!

Perfect spot!

Loved the location of this condo. Right across from the beach and next to several places to eat. The condo was really nice and had so many beach accessories ready for us to use. The only downside was the AC unit only being in the living room and not the bedroom, which got quite hot. Wonderful stay overall :)

Great location

The condo was perfect for us. We especially liked the location - right across the street from the beach! Beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels and small cooler were all provided. Restaurants and stores are in walking distance. Brian was very responsive to my initial questions .

The condo is fully equipped with everything you’ll need for your stay. The furnishings were very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the great view of the sunset from the lanai. Diane and Rosalind were very responsive and helpful.

Convenient Location and Great Value

I stayed a week at Brian & Marilyn's place. The location was super convenient; really close to lots of food options both walking and driving distance. The property was nice and clean, and there is lots of beach gear (towels, chairs, bodyboards, cooler, etc) to borrow and use during your stay. Brian was a wonderful host and checked in with me a couple of times to make sure everything was to my liking.

Do we really have to leave?

What a great condo. It had everything we needed during our two week stay. Great view of the ocean and a close walk to the beach and restaurants. Super quiet and amazing gardens with many different kinds of native plants and flowers. We will definitely be back. Mahalo!

Charming one bedroom

Comfortable one bedroom with well stocked kitchen and roomy living room. Watch whales from balcony using binoculars supplied. Quiet at night. Boogie boards, beach umbrella and chairs all supplied.

One of the best units we’ve stayed in! On 2nd floor of D building. Very clean, tastefully decorated, well stocked kitchen and lots of extras - beach towels, large umbrella, good chairs, binoculars, books, puzzles, etc. The owners were welcoming & very attentive to any needs.

The property was nice and conveniently located, but we were disappointed to find the sink cabinets for the kitchen and bathroom were falling off the hinges. The A/C unit didn’t cool very well.

Another amazing stay

Thanks again to Brian and Marilyn for sharing their beautiful condo. It’s a perfect location and very well stocked with everything you will need for a comfortable stay. All furnishings, appliances, towels, etc, etc, etc, are in excellent condition. As hosts, they are very receptive and responsive to any queries you may have. A definite do over for us. I would recommend a stay here to family and friends.

Maui features a mix of climatic conditions. For instance, some areas of the Valley Isle receive upwards of 400 inches of rain annually. On the other hand, Kihei averages only ten inches. We appreciate Maui's variety, but especially enjoy Kihei's propensity for dry weather.

Average high temperatures in Kihei range from 81 to 90 throughout the year while lows range from 61 to 67. This tight spread provides the opportunity for a pleasant experience no matter what time of year we visit. Of course, summer months tend to be a little warm for us Alaskans!

Tipping the scales even further in Kihei's favor is the wide variety of activities within just a short five or ten minute drive. Shopping, dining, snorkeling, surfing, golf - you name it, it's close by.

Even better, many of these attractions are within easy walking distance of our condo. Best of all, the Pacific Ocean is just across the street!
