Our family had the most amazing time at this holiday home. We are a family of 5, with three kids under 5.5 and we went with my in laws. The view is absolutely stunning. It was private and quiet, which made for a relaxing time. There was so much to explore on the property as it’s super spacious - we hiked, ran around the yard, swam in the gorgeous pool. The pool had many toys leftover from previous guests to enjoy and we continued the trend. It was lovely having an outdoor shower post swim to rinse off too. The kids loved the wildlife - looking for the hares, catching butterflies, and chasing the lizards. Being from Canada, we truly appreciated being able to be in nature and not worrying about ticks and mosquitoes.There’s so many dining areas but we mostly sat in the area by the charcoal bbq where we could enjoy our meals and enjoy fresh air. The kitchen is well equipped with anything you would need to make a home cooked meal. The bedrooms and washrooms were super clean. Our kids wanted to sleep together so we ended up having two bedrooms we didn’t touch but it was nice to have the option. The house isn’t far from a lot of tourist spots, like Domme, La Roque Gageac. Also being close to Sarlat was great for groceries. And being so close to the river was lovely too. The house is very high up which is great for privacy, but just make sure whomever is the driver is comfortable with narrow roads. It was like that through the regionThx for an amazing stay!
