Wonderful stay, incredible views, and adorable animals!We stayed here while working on a construction project in the area, and it ended up being the perfect home base. The house itself is spacious and comfortable, but the absolute highlights were the beautiful desert sunsets from the back deck and getting to see the baby pigs and baby llamas on the property! The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful with anything we needed throughout our stay. It worked out perfectly for our needs, and we would absolutely stay here again.

Perfect! Wish I could stay longer!

Check in was smooth, location was easy to find. Really clean, smelled amazing. So many animals, all were so friendly. Felt like home. Definitely will stay here again.

Great desert ranch retreat

A comfortable and cozy retreat. Great for relaxing and enjoying the desert. The property owner’s dogs are so warm and friendly, yet they make sure to keep you protected. :D

This was one of the worst rental experiences we have ever had. The house was extremely dirty when we arrived, and I had to spend my own money on cleaning supplies just to make it tolerable. The kitchen flooring is coming up and is clearly in need of repair.The air conditioning stopped working multiple times during our stay. Despite reporting the problem, nobody ever came to inspect or repair it, and I was ultimately forced to troubleshoot and fix it myself. The electricity also went out several times, including once for nearly an entire day. At another point, the water was shut off without any warning.The property itself felt neglected and unsafe. There were dead animals on the property, and we encountered rattlesnakes on the porches. We stayed beyond our original reservation while arranging payment for the additional time, only to be removed from the property because the owners expected an ACH transfer to clear immediately—even though ACH transfers are not always instant.Between the filthy condition, serious maintenance problems, utility interruptions, safety concerns, and poor communication from the owners, I cannot recommend this property. I would never stay here again.

Perfect for what we wanted

If you are looking to enjoy your family time in a simple fashion, to enjoy the the outdoors, pet a variety of animals go off roading in rented 4 x 4 this is the place to go. The host were amazing and cannot wait to go back. The only negative was there a lack of kitchen stuff so just plan on bringing the paper plates, bowls and cups. Everything else ide give an 8.5 out of 10.

Desert Mountain Stay

Wonderful experience, exactly what I expected. Only a couple items, there were not enough towels or any cleaning supplies in the house for dishes or anything. It’s an older home, but very very accommodating. The sunrises and sunsets are BEAUTIFUL. Absolutely amazing to interact with all those animals. So so cool!!!! I would come back again.

Los Alio Farm

This place was amazing. It was perfect for our small reunion of friends. The host was very responsive! The only thing that I had concerns with was the back deck seemed quite dangerous boards need to be replaced! There wasn’t enough towels. There were only four, so they need to stock up on some towels. This is a farm, so be sure to bring just the stuff that you think that you would need, for example, paper plates, paper towels, and aluminum foil pans to put your food on after grilling or in general cooking. Some friends extended the stay, and the host had no problem with this I recommend this place.

Do NOT stay here! Most unprofessional VRBO experience I've ever had. Host double-booked the house and never told me. I travelled 300 miles with my family of six for a three-day vacation to celebrate my wedding anniversary. When I arrived I still had not received the door code from the owner. I messaged her for the door code. She responded that she had double booked and someone was already staying there. She said I could stay in an RV, a studio "tiny house" on the property or she could refund me. The only option for a family of six was to ask for a full refund and then have to find a last minute hotel, which ended up being an absolute disaster and ruined our anniversary. Finally, she only partially refunded me. She said I would just have to call VRBO for the rest because those were their fees (160). She made no attempt to resolve this for me. I've spent more than two hours since that trip trying to get my money back by working through VRBO. I still have yet to get my money back. Horrendous experience. This level of unprofessionalism is beyond the pale.

This may be a farm on a dirt environment but it was lacking in basic cleanliness. Not vacuumed, could not use bedding in 2 room dirty and actually used our own bedding in one room and used pillows off the couch and their throw deco blankets as bedding. Dirty as washed in washing machine with articles with dirt, with long dark hair dirt as in the floor as mud not dissolved and even q-tips under the blankets in one room and comforter had huge stain either fabric softner didnt desolve or just greasy,. Kitchen had a partial eaten cake paper plate. Blinds were very dirty missing slats as if visitors with pets were trying to get through them to the outside. 5 guests registered only 3 towels., My adult son's refused to use the dishes or linens because the rugs had particles of mud not just dirt on it. You had to wash your feet before going to bed if walking barefoot in the house.I hate writing this but my son's wanted to write this.My grandson is only 8 and he loved walking around the property its definitely a farm and be prepared for a run down farm. Toilet paper holders broken smoke alarm in front room doesn't look in working order due to no cover.I was raised on a ranch and my grandson and I made do with it my son's went to Walmart about 5 miles away and bought cleaning supplies and linens.Careful on front steps or use the kitchen entry. If you come just be prepared for an older farm house in need of deep cleaning and repairs. I am truly sorry to write this but needed.
