About this property

19th Century Farm House on 300 Acre Farm

Sitting on a pastoral 300 acres of active farmland, the Old Ox Farmhouse is a quiet retreat nestled in the heart of the Hudson Valley. There are panoramic views of the Catskill Mountain Range and the Hudson River. There are more than ten miles of hiking trails, a swimming pond and several fire pits for evening gatherings and sunset viewing. Live amongst the cows grazing in several fields and chickens pecking throughout the day. Enjoy cooking with ingredients found on the farm. The house is newly renovated 19th century farmhouse with original flooring and exposed beams. Take a dip in the naturally fed pond!

Just under 2 hours from NYC and 20 minutes from the hamlet of Hudson for shopping and dining. Chatham NY is a ten minute drive for gallery visiting, dining and grabbing a drink at the local watering hole. The Hawthorne Valley Farm store is located just around the corner to pick up provisions for your stay.
