This 5+ bedroom home offers spectacular lake views and sunsets over Lake Champlain - minutes to everything by car or bike! Close to UVM and centrally located between Burlington, Shelburne and Charlotte, its Spear Street South Burlington location is perfect for alumni weekends, weddings and reunions with friends and family. The house offers bright rooms to gather, but is large enough to allow private office spaces to work and porches to relax with a good book.

Spear Street is minutes to popular wedding venues including Shelburne Farms and the Old Lantern Inn, a quick trip to Burlington breweries, and just a few miles to the lake. You can enjoy day trips to Stowe, explore the Lake Champlain Islands, take in all of Burlington area's shopping and dining or simply stay put enjoying this happy home.

Front and back stone patios with a wooden fire pit and barbecue grill offer everything you may need for stay at home evening activities. The front porch off of the master suite offers a gas fireplace for additional comfort on cool nights and a cozy ambiance while enjoying the many gorgeous sunsets over the lake. The backyard looks like a professional soccer field with a perfectly flat surface for playing kickball, soccer, lacrosse, flying kites and other fun family activities.

The spacious family, kitchen and dining area is absolutely beautiful for entertaining in and out of the house which provides an open flow from front to back patios.

The photographs and descriptions of the place are accurate and we found the property to be even better than the photos and descriptions. We enjoyed the spectacular views from every room. The open floor plan was perfect for our family and a gathering of cousins. The one level living was so nice for our 92 year old Mom and her walker. The 5 bedrooms were arranged perfectly for Mom, me, my spouse, and my siblings and their spouses. We used every bed plus the pull-out couch. The kitchen was a dream to work in and was very well appointed. The hot tub was a bonus added touch for relaxing. All in all our stay was very comfortable. We would definitely rent again the next time we are in the area.

Our multi-generational family of 10 had a wonderful stay on Spear St! The view of Lake Champlain is gorgeous at sunset. We enjoyed the 5 bedrooms to spread out and played hours of board games in the open family room and large dining area. Gorgeous house with stunning lake view

This is a fantastic house, well laid out, with lots of space, minutes from downtown Burlington. It is easy to get to and fully loaded. It’s also a little bit atypical in that the house has definitely been lived in by a family before, so the furnishings and layout reflect this. It’s not just a rental property; it’s a true home. First Visit to our UVM Freshman

The property is amazing. Great everything. Lots of different space for entertaining or just hanging out. Beautiful views and perfect location. Just far enough to get out into a nice quiet setting, but, literally, minutes from everything the Burlington area offers. We were 2 families visiting our respective students for the weekend with a lot of coming and going, as well as big dinners with other friends from the area. EVERYONE loved the property and the house.

7 of us guys that graduated in 1990 from Birmingham-Southern College get together every year the week following Labor Day. We chose Burlington this year for the location. The house was spacious, great views of Lake Champlain, centrally located near downtown and just overall, great and just like the pictures. I would highly recommend.

Best house EVER!

I can't say enough good things about this house and the hosts. The layout is amazing and was perfect for our family of grandparents, adult children and young grandchildren. It is all on one floor with the heart of the house being a large open kitchen, dining and family room. Every bedroom has a view of the lake! Really! Wedding weekend extravaganza

We were at the house the week before the wedding and had many people in and out. The view from the property is stunning- and the house is so accommodating with 5 bedrooms and lots of room. Deb was so responsive with any hitch and she supplied me with lots of ideas for venues and restaurants before we came. This is a family home, with all the trimmings. You will feel welcome there! It is worth every penny- it was prefect !
