We had a wonderful stay with our family. The host went above and beyond in communicating. Even willing to send items back that we forgot!House is eclectic and warm at the same time. If traveling with young children note the higher height in beds to accommodate for toddlers.

Beautiful venue! This place was great for our extended family to stay and gather (for son's nearby wedding). It was so convenient to have two kitchens (early risers had coffee and conversation downstairs without waking others upstairs), and beds were big and comfortable. We had everything we needed, and the host was very responsive to questions during our stay.

Me and my group of friends had a great time. This is a good place for a trip with multiple couples, as every room has a large bed and there is plenty of space for communal cooking/meals. The property was gorgeous. Our host was communicative, helpful, and generally a cool person.

Beautiful and unique property. If you appreciate architecture and construction this is a must see. A couple of small snags were quickly addressed by the Owner Dino, who reached out personally to follow up. Game room downstairs was awesome. Rear deck was our hangout after a day of touring Burlington, on Lake Champlain, or hitting the Shelburne Museum or a brewery. Strongly recommend!

Dino's cabin was incredible! Our family - including children ranging from 1 to 9 years old - had a blast. The basement is the perfect hangout spot. The location is secluded and peaceful but a short distance to groceries and Burlington. Dino was super communicative and repeatedly checked in to make sure we were having the best time possible. It was a fantastic stay!

Every year my husband and I host a family vacation for our 5 adult sons and their partners. This was among our all time favorites as it is nestled away and private, has a lot to do in the house, and is just gorgeous. Highly recommend Dino, the host. He was friendly and great to work with. I really hope we have the opportunity to return!

A tired home that needs a lot of attention. The pictures were dated and home is simply not worth what we paid. Basic things like light bulbs burned out and doors that don’t close/lock are general upkeep items that need replacing or repair. An awful sewer smell in the back yard prevented any type of hot tub or fire pit time. The kitchen was in disarray, lacked cleanliness and we blew numerous fuses over a 5 day period. All in, a very disappointing experience and one we hope other guests will not have to go through.

I’m genuinely surprised and disappointed by this review. I’m not taking her suggestions lightly, but the tone and severity of the review felt more like a personal attack and a strong effort to criticize a home that, in my view, did not warrant a two-star rating, rather than constructive feedback intended to help. When the guest checked in, she told me how lovely the house was, and I personally checked in with her every day. None of these concerns were mentioned during her stay. The one request she made regarding the hot tub before they even arrived was handled immediately. After checkout, we checked every issue she mentioned, and all but one required no repair because we could not find anything wrong. The only issue was that someone had apparently moved the septic cover and not secured it properly. When I had someone inspect it, he simply moved the cover about a quarter of an inch, screwed it back down, and the odor was gone. I’ve been renting my home for 15 years and have approximately 235 reviews, around 230 of them five stars. I take great pride in my home and in giving guests a wonderful experience. As my mother always said, you can’t please everybody. After 15 years, unfortunately, this was my one—and the first guest I can honestly say I would not welcome back.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at the log cabin at the end of April - a big group for an annual "girls" weekend (average age 59!) Dino is the perfect host and met me as the organizer upon check-in to go over how to get into the gate, house, and answer any questions. The house is enormous and very clean with all the amenities one could want! Two kitchens, up and downstairs, plenty of entertainment - pool table, foosball and air hockey tables, amazing wrap-around deck, grill and hot tub - we enjoyed it all! The bedrooms and bathrooms are beyond expansive and the beds are really comfortable. What makes the house really special is the decor - music and movie themed - so lots of memorabilia to look at every time you turn your head. Would highly recommend this property to stay at - perfect for a family reunion or girls'/guys' trip - we hope to stay there again next year!

The real Vermont log cabin is a gem. The house is gorgeous and was perfect for our annual friends reunion. We especially loved the privacy and the wonderful interface with the forest. The outdoor spaces were as amazing as the beautiful bedrooms. Would love to stay again if we need the space. Dino was a great host and made sure everything was ready for us and was available for any problems. He went above and beyond in helping a member of our group with a lost item. All in all this was a great venue.

Amazing Stay!

We had a wonderful time, I got engaged here and the cabin was just what we needed for a big family celebration. The owner was helpful and nice. We would love to stay here again. It was close to some breweries and down town Burlington. Overall this was a GREAT experience and would recommend this cabin to anyone!
