Beautifully Renovated 3 BR Venice Beach Craftsman steps to the sand and AK blvd!

Wonderfully located and newly renovated! Light, bright and beautiful 3 bedroom + 2 bathroom home on one of the most quiet and gorgeous streets in Venice. Close enough for ocean breezes, yet only steps to the famous Abbot Kinney- the home is flooded with skylights and sunlight, and has a lovely front porch and back seating area. All systems and bathrooms have been updated, whilst keeping to the look and charm of the quintessential Venice craftsman of its time. Welcome!

Guest Access:
The entire home is yours. There is a numerical key pad on the front door to make access simple and a private car park (with back entrance) for additional entry. Please note: Venice has narrow alleys ways with sometimes icky trash so the car park is quite tight. I highly recommend parking on the street and/or a compact car :)

Interaction with Guests:
As you’ll see from my reviews, I am so happy to engage and interact with guests and will always be timely. We really appreciate you visiting and want you to have the most wonderful stay!

Location:
The house is close to everything (Venice Canals, Santa Monica, LAX) yet tucked away on a quiet and peaceful tree-lined street. This Venice craftsman has all the vintage style yet boasts brand new systems, a chef's kitchen and beautiful, updated bathrooms. All of the furnishings are brand new and in pristine condition. Additionally, there is a small reading nook off of the living room where you can quietly read, meditate, or simply listen to rustle of the trees. The over-sized dining room is a perfect place to share meals and connect.

Make yourself at home. I have everything you need to be comfortable. I know you’ll be as in love with this place as we are. Cannot wait to share it with you ! :)

Please note: Absolutely NO PARTIES and NO SMOKING. We will have to take the ENTIRE security deposit and don’t want to be put in that position.

Tips:
Grab the house's beach bag and make the 5 minute stroll West to Venice Beach, one of Californias most popular stretches of sand: vibrant people watching, eclectic side-walk art and the never-ending variety of things to do and see.

Walk 2 blocks South and wander through the beautiful Venice Canals, reminiscent of Italy's famous water-city of the same name. Explore the charming arched bridges, gardens and homes- don't forget your camera for this amazing little village.

Just steps away, you'll start at the West end of the beloved Abbot Kinney: full of amazing restaurants, high-end shops, art galleries, funky boutiques, and more! I absolutely love this street and could spend all day here. Visit the Marketplace of Makers every Saturday just around the corner!

4 blocks North and you're in Santa Monica, just a walk or bike ride away to the beautiful Shutters on the Beach, Casa Del Mar and the iconic Santa Monica Pier. So much to do and explore here !

Getting Around:
If you don't have a rental car, I recommend using UBER (it is a far better value than a taxi). The app is very easy to download on your smart phone & you can start using it instantly. Use the code: g5kpz when you sign up and you will receive $20 in free rides.

Bikes are available as part of the Santa Monica Bike Share program - 500 bikes at 80 stations. With their mobile app you can always find a bike near you. Pick up a bike for a few hours or a whole day on California between Abbot Kinney and Electric.

This was a great home for our family of four. The kids enjoyed having their own rooms, and the location was convenient, whether we wanted to walk and shop on Abbot Kinney or drive up to Santa Monica or Hollywood. House was stocked with everything we needed, and communication with the host was great. Parking could take some time depending on the day, but overall not a big problem. Loved our California vacation!

Our family of four (w/two teens) had a great time staying here. Great location close to shopping, restaurants, beach, etc. And easy to get to other parts of the city. The house itself was nicely appointed with everything we needed and designed well with plenty of space for family time as well as individual "Me" time. We would recommend it and stay here again.

We LOVED the space and location. The house is walkable to Abbott Kinney- we got coffee and breakfast at Blue Bottle nearby and felt very safe. The space was perfect for our game night because the living room area is open layout with a large table and a nice couch area. All in very happy and will stay here again!

We were pleased to enjoy this comfortable, clean home located in the heart of Venice. Our family of four had more than enough space to unwind. This property was really beautiful and well-appointed. Beds we’re comfortable and kitchen and bathroom had all we needed. We lucked out with parking for the most part though we did part in unit’s small gated spot. (The back area was very cute and parking worked- though it was a narrow fit.) We really enjoyed our brief stay.

A perfect Getaway

My 19 year old son and I decided to spend the last week of his holiday break in LA to visit friends and work. The house was the perfect size for us and was adorable. It was very near to Abbott Kinney so we were very close to great shops and restaurants. Street parking was as easy as the owner said. And, speaking of the owner, she was VERY responsive every step of the way! She was a delight to rent from and very easy to reach. We would stay there again and highly recommend it!

Perfect place to stay in Venice

We were in town for a short trip but would have loved to stay longer. Shops and restaurants are steps away but the house is on a cute quiet street. We felt like locals enjoying our coffee and wine on the front porch. The house is beautifully decorated, larger than you would expect, clean, and charming. Shana was quick to respond to every question. There were only three of us, but it would have been comfortable for more. I don’t think you’ll find a better place to stay in Venice!

Venice house charm

We had a very nice extended visit and were pleased with this Venice house rental. It had the charm of a beach house. Was welcoming, clean, organized, and well located for walking and driving. Shana/host was easy to communicate with, accommodating and responsive. The good complementary coffee options and makers were a nice touch, especially in the early mornings and when it was pouring rain. Very cute CA style bungalow in a fun area with lots of shopping and restaurants plus Venice beach within walking distance. House was clean and comfortable. Owner was quick to respond to our questions. Off street parking in back of house is great but very small (as noted in the listing). If you have a bigger vehicle street parking is hard to come by.

Perfect location, great house for our family

We stayed here for about a week to do many of the touristy things around LA. It was a pretty easy drive to everything (got stuck in traffic one afternoon heading downtown but otherwise great) and we loved the proximity to A-K Blvd. and all of the neat shops and restaurants when we were taking it easy. The house was well furnished both the kitchen and the other essentials (soap, detergent, paper towels, etc.). We were able to find a parking spot on the street all but one time and then we did manage to drive into the parking spot from the alley. Shana was quick to respond the few times we did have a question about something. The only words of caution I would share would be that the noise from A-K did make it tough to nap in the afternoon (but did not go late at night or in the morning) and also that we loved all of the natural light in the back bedroom (and in the kitchen!) but were glad that we had our eyeshades for sleeping since the light does come in as soon as the sun is up. We loved our stay and would highly recommend this property.
