A fall morning walk around Saratoga Lake was beautiful and serene. The property was clean and as equipped as advertised. Accomodations were minimal, but adequate and exactly what we expected going in. Plenty of places to grab a bite to eat are within a short drive. I traveled with my parents, so as the third person, I took the futon. Sleeping was honestly a bit rough due to feeling the support bars through the cushion. All that said, we'd gladly stay again, but I'd plan on bringing my own cot for a good night's sleep. The host was friendly and helpful, though I did have to reach out on the morning of my trip to get the address and check-in instructions.
The stay at the house was great. Paul was very accommodating, courteous, and nice. Home was clean, easily accessible, and neighborhood was quiet. Highly recommend for anyone.
The stay here was nice. 1 street away from the lake. The place was very clean and cozy. If you're looking for a 5 star hotel you are looking in the wrong place but it is worth the value.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Was adequate for what we needed. I was not aware of the long walk on slate stones that made it difficult for my elderly parents. Could use a little updating. I cleaned a lot of the cobwebs from the front door and the banister was loose on the stairs and needs fixed. Towels are old and need replaced. Easy check in and check out. Owner was quick with communicating.
Quaint apartment in peaceful lakeside neighborhood
The apartment is small and outdated as the photos show, but it met our needs. Quaint vintage furnishings add to the experience and the bed is also older so you may sleep more comfortably if you bring along a foam mattress topper. Enjoyed the neighborhood and convenient location just far enough off the beaten path. Also close to one of our favorite places to eat in the area - "The Galley Bar and Grill".

We were in need of a place to sleep while in town for a family reunion. This property was delightful! It was perfect for the two of us. The small kitchen with refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker was perfect for preparing small meals between our scheduled activities. The handicapped accessibility in the bathroom and hallway was an additional benefit. The bed was quite comfortable but the sofa not so much!
Good price
Two suggestions:
Make up bed with fresh linen just prior to rental.
Add kitchen utensils (knives, forks, & spoons)

Liked: Communication, location, listing accuracy
It was what was advertised
All in all it fit the bill. We were seeing a few shows at SPAC and the location was awesome. Show ended at 11 and we were back at the place by 11:25 (rt 63 to rt 45 to rt 50). Super easy. The place is a little old and could use a good once over for cleaning but the location is prime. We would stay there again if we were seeing a show at SPAC. It is also right next to the lake and close to food and supplies. Have breakfast at the Ugly Rooster and get a sub at Pellegrino’s.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Property description is very inaccurate!! There is NO A/C NO COFFEE MAKER AND THE KITCHENETTE IS A 12” SINK MINI FRIGE AND MICROWAVE. Not sure why the owner has to lie in their listing????
