This property provided everything we needed for our short stay. We enjoyed some time on the deck in the sun to relax. It was quiet, private and quaint. AJ, our host was delightful and very responsive. Downtown was only 15 minutes away with a great shopping and restaurant district. We drove through a state park, hoping to take a hike but the rain prevented us. We would come here again.

Our first time visiting Saratoga Springs from Maine was made even more memorable by our stay on the creek! Our family, including young grandchildren from New Jersey also visiting Saratoga for Travers Race weekend, was all made to feel very welcome by our hosts. A dinner recommendation to a nearby restaurant on Saratoga Lake was a great start to our experience. The riverfront views were peaceful with bird activity starting every day with coffee (provided) enjoyed on the deck - sightings including a heron! The fire pit was stocked with fresh wood and chairs were arranged for our enjoyment. S'mores were a big hit as the day wound down. One highlight was getting our grandkids out for a paddle on a canoe and kayak. The host provided all the gear including life vests for children. The proximity of this home to downtown and the Saratoga Racetrack made for a convenient stay, feeling far from everything yet an easy, short drive to all we wanted to experience! This host was outstanding and very personablea place we'd like to return to someday!

The room was accurately described as was the location. It was very easy to get around Saratoga from this property and away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown and racetrack locations. It is a quiet and bucolic setting with the creek and the room overlooks a large meadow. It is perfect getaway for a couple or single.

Amazing Creeksde Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at AJs place. He is the perfect host, so easy going and gracious with all the extras provided - fruit, snacks and wine - what more could you ask for! We enjoyed relaxing on the dock and kayaked every day and saw lots of wildlife- so peaceful. We would definitely want to stay here again the next time we are in the area! Mary Jo & Ron

Great getaway

Great communication, comfy bed, beautiful view- what more do you need?! We really loved having breakfast on the deck overlooking the river and hearing the frogs at night. It’s close enough to bop back and forth from downtown Saratoga but far enough away to be away from hustle & bustle. This is a great getaway and we hope to be back again.

We wanted a place that was quiet and not too far from family. I was happy to be able to have a base that met our needs and expectations. Andrew and company were helpful and onsite should we need anything. I think that you have a hidden gem here for sure. Thanks again for your willingness to add an additional day. It was nice and easy.

Chilled & Relaxing

Location is fantastic directly on the creek with wildlife to see and canoes available to help chill. AJ is relaxed and very knowledgeable and each recommendation hit the mark. Accommodation is very comfortable and we had a great time relaxing day and evening. Thanks to AJ for his hospitality especially the little touches of providing tea, coffee, milk, bread, jam and butter for breakfast next day after a long flight from the UK; no need to rush out so relaxation started immediately. Would recommend the area and accommodation.
