Mountain Cabin

We enjoyed our stay in the cabin. The views were magnificent! The cabin had all of the amenities that we needed to relax and enjoy family time. The pool table was a big hit with the family! A great vacation!

Successful Bachelorette Weekend

The cabin was perfect for a weekend of selfie taking and game playing for our group of ladies! Sylva is a short drive away and we enjoyed a trip down the mountain for lunch and shopping downtown. Would definitely rent again.

Great Girls Weekend!

My family booked this place for my mom to have a girls weekend with her friends. The house was awesome, everything worked well and I kept getting compliments from the ladies for picking somewhere so perfect and with such an amazing view! 5 stars all around for a cozy cabin at the top of the mountain!

The view

Fantastic property, clean and set up well. With an amazing view to look at. Great location. The only downside was the few lady bugs, and a couple of stink bugs inside, but it was not that big of a deal. Overall, an amazing property with a killer view and would definitely recommend and return!

The property has beautiful views. The directions were good. The bedroom with the queen bed upstairs is dark. The mattress needs to be replaced as well as the living room couch.

Property was well maintained. The road access to and from was a little dicy especially for a bigger vehicle . It appeared to be a one lane road at spots . If you met another vehicle one would have to back partially down the hill . All and all the property was very nice . I would definitely stay there again .

The BEST mountain property we've every experienced!

We've rented quite a few mountain cabins over the years... but this one tops them all. It was the perfect weekend getaway for us, all our kids, and their significant others. Super nice log cabin with ample bedrooms for all, very spacious social areas, several gas fireplaces, outside campfire pit, and the most amazing view from the porch/windows. Our only "negative" about the property was a difficult to open door handle from inside the guest bathroom... which made for some hilarious moments. We will DEFINITELY be revisiting this one for our next large family gathering in the mountains.

Time with Family

Our group consisted of grandparents, parents, 20 year old grandson and 16 year old granddaughter and her friend plus the labradoodle, Miles. The house was perfect for our family. The view is spectacular and the house is very nice with nice size bedrooms and common areas. We were very impressed with how clean the house was from top to bottom. We loved our time relaxing there and the great restaurants and shopping around the area. The guys spent a day fly fishing with Wes Buchanan with Two Brothers. We also enjoyed Unto these Hills in Cherokee. No dull moments here!

It was amazing when we walked in, just lost for words. We truly enjoyed ourselves.

This property is well built. The architecture whom design the entire home carefully thought about each detail. From the labels on light panels were labeled which made easy for our family to turn on and off lights and ceiling fans. One particular room the master suite log cabin bed and dresser was an eye opener. The Smokey Mountain view had my family crying, praying to God, and leaving all worries and burden right on the main porch sitting area. Thank you so much and we will be back for more fun....

The view is absolutely cloud 10

I host women’s retreat weekends and we very much enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room to enjoy. The only disappointment of the whole place was only two chairs outside to enjoy that view. The VRBO pictures showed more when I booked, as that is what we tend to do on our weekends is sit and enjoy the view. The bottom stairs to the fire pit were not complete, but it was too windy to use anyway. We had planned to go to the festival in Sylva, but couldn’t leave that view! Thank you so much for sharing your house.

Great Views, lovely cabin, but . . . .

I struggled whether to write this review, as the property itself really was nice, but there were several problems with this cabin and I wish I had known them ahead of time so we could have chosen a different cabin. Pros: -gorgeous views -lots of space to spread out (bedrooms on 3 levels) Cons: -upstairs shower leaks- water drips into kitchen (we called the management company immediately, left messages and called back repeatedly, but in our 4 night stay no one came out to even look at it, and from the water stains this wasn't the first time it leaked. Functionally this makes it a 2 full bathroom cabin, not 3) -Neither gas fireplace worked- (again, called management, no reponse) -SERIOUS lady bug infestation- think crawling on you in your sleep, dead ones all of the the floor, live ones flying in the air inside the cabin . . . again, this was reported with no attempt at resolution -Cleanliness- not sure if this was because maybe it had been cleaned a while before we stayed there (although it was peak leaf season . . .) but there were cobwebs on lamps, chair legs, etc- it just felt dingy. -WiFi- it works, BUT there are signs that say it is "limited" and you are not allowed to stream video or play any games as that uses too much and you will be fined at least $100. There was no guideline to define any of these limits . . . . -Walls/ceilings are VERY thin Nice place, but mismanaged. Needs some TLC and a deep clean. Definitely not a "luxury" cabin as advertised
