Beautiful, well appointed "home away from home!" We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Red Hill House. Plenty of space, comfortable beds, everything we could possibly need, lovely decor, stunning views, lots of fun to be had in the basement with board games and the pool/ping pong/air hockey table. Dishwasher and clothes washer/dryer were so nice to have! Fun hike up the back hill. Great location for our day trips to Colorado Springs (Pike's Peak, Garden of the Gods, and Manitou Incline!), exploring Fairplay, a beautiful hike at Hoosier Pass, hiking near Buena Vista, and what may be a hidden gem at Limber Grove Trail - we had the whole place to ourselves! Amazing location for booking a ride at Platte Ranch, which we attempted to do when we had a few minutes to spare, but it was last minute and they were already booked. So many adventures to be had while staying at Red Hill House!

Beautiful location, nice home; the only issue was the stairs, which were steep for two senior citizens, especially at that altitude. Otherwise, we loved it.

Mountain hideaway

What an amazing place!! I loved the decor and the kids enjoyed the downstairs set up for some fun…game table and board games . The adults enjoyed the wonderful view off the deck! The driveway lights really helped locating the right place at night!

We found a home warm, inviting and clean. Let itself to an intimate family gathering with a beautiful view off the mountain side over the plateau. Easy drive to restaurants in Buena Vista, Fairplay or skiing in Breckenridge

Great views, cozy living - perfect retreat!

A real getaway just outside Fairplay, CO - the Red Hill house offers beautiful mountain range views nearly wrapping around the house with a private, quiet location on the side of the bluff. The large stone fireplace and comfy couches gave us the relaxing mountain home feel we were looking for. We were able to do video conference work during the week and enjoyed the game room. The interior feels brand new and has much attention to detail. Will go again!

Great views, location and comfort! Video conferences are perfect!

5 stars! Spectacular location looking over mountain ranges and the river and valley below. House is warm and cozy with stone fireplace, new beds & quality furniture. We are able to feel like we really got away yet were not too far from town for supplies. Plus, work video conferences were perfect with the high speed internet! Family game room offered a lot of fun too. Wish we could have stayed longer! The retreat that has it all!

Thank you so much for the fantastic review! We're so glad Red Hill House gave you the best of both worlds, a true getaway with those mountain, river, and valley views, yet close enough to town and reliable enough for your video conferences. It's great to hear the family game room was a hit too. We wish you could've stayed longer as well, and we'd love to welcome you back anytime!
