The Beach is your back yard!

Escape to the beach and enjoy vacationing in our charming condo along the Emerald Coast of the Florida Panhandle. Watch the surf and seagulls from your balcony overlooking the sparkling blue/green waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

Located toward the West End of Okaloosa Island, in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida Vista Del Mar is close to miles of natural beach preserved and undeveloped. In addition to this incredible location and breathtaking views, our vacation rental is nicely furnished offering a simple, yet quaint, retreat to the beach. Visitors love the simplicity and being in a smaller complex like ours, away from the crowds in high-rises.

Enjoy easy beach access from our second floor accommodation, and the panoramic view of the white-sand beaches.

When you are not on the beach, here are a few other things that might interest you...

Main Street in Ft. Walton Beach offers unique shopping and dining along the main strip of Ft. Walton. The Gulfarium is a great way to spend part of your day. The dolphin shows are almost continuous & you can also visit all sorts of marine life such as seals, sea lions, sharks, alligators, penguins and more. One of our favorite things to do is going parasailing. Okaloosa Island offers this service, and is a favorite destination for parasailors. The views are wonderful & the ride is exhilarating. Visit the Okaloosa Island Fishing Pier, which is visible from our condominium unit. The pier is 1262 ft long and has an octagon at the end so everyone has plenty of room to fish. If you are not in to fishing you can enjoy wonderful sunsets at the pier and also get a chance to see dolphins. If you didn't bring your rod & reel, don't worry, you may rent one there.

A very relaxing stay. Loved the big windows and balcony with ocean views. Well supplied condo. Even had a junk drawer! I loved it! I found a few things I needed. Nice well kept grounds to walk your dog on. Nice comfy bed and good linens. 5 stars all around.

We had a 3 night stay, the condo was very comfortable and family friendly. The views were amazing and the family was able to watch the sunset from the balcony, as well as pelicans diving and even pods of dolphins off in the distance. Cindy the host was amazing! INCREDIBLE VIEW

We were looking for a condo to just relax and unwind, and that’s exactly what we found! The area was quiet (no noisy neighbors) but the BEST features are the incredible views and the fact that you are literally steps to the beach! You can see for miles in either direction which made for awesome sunrise and sunset photos. We will definitely be back!!

We had a wonderful vacation. The view is amazing from the balcony. The condo is fully stocked with everything you would need and more. We arrived before check in time and Cindy was nice enough to let us go ahead and check in. Definitely plan to come back and stay here in the future.

Nice quiet condo

Nice condo way down the island away from all the hustle and bustle. Only nine condos in the complex so it was nice a quiet. Great green space for us to take the dog to. Wonderful views from the balcony. Beach service was a big plus. Easy beach access.

Long weekend beach Getaway

We stayed at this condo for a 4-day beach getaway, and it was perfect! The beach is literally steps away, and the view of the water from the condo is completely unobstructed and glorious. The area is quiet but close to plenty of restaurants/activities. The condo is stocked with everything imaginable (including a Keurig). The condo is also ideal for those who want to bring their dog, plenty of nearby spots to take them out for a walk. We had some minor technical issues with the booking, but Cindy was amazing and worked that out in a timely manner. We plan to stay here again in the future.

Perfect Getaway

Cindy’s condo was the cleanest and most well stocked place we have ever stayed at!! We felt right at home and had everything we could ever need! Her place was down the island a little bit so it was quiet and not as busy, but still just a very short drive from everything. Cindy answered all my questions within a timely manner and was such a friendly and sweet host! Her condo and the location were perfect for us and we’re already trying to plan when we can come back!!

Short trip to Okaloosa Island

Communication with Cindy was very good. This was probably the most well stocked condo we have ever stayed at from glassware, dishes, cleaning supplies, towels, etc. the condo was spotless too. Beautiful view of the ocean from the deck. Condo was nicely decorated. I loved the colors and the way it was decorated. Thank you for a nice stay.

Great relaxing location

We really enjoyed the condo. I was in between choosing Destin or the Okaloosa area. Glad we choose this condo. I was worried the one bathroom would be a problem with the family, but since we were mostly relaxing it was never really an issue. The beach access is great and there is a nice path to walk dogs by the Matador. Last year we paid much more in Gulf shores for a similar condo and although the finishes looked nicer on the pics it wasn’t worth paying 40% more and didn’t make the stay any better. I would recommend this condo to anyone looking for beach time in the Fort Walton/Destin area.
