Classic Cape Cod Beach House with Private Beach

We offer you our updated and modern beach house for your next vacation on Cape Cod. Our home sits nestled in a protective dune overlooking Cape Cod Bay with a 50 foot wide private beach. The newly built large modern rear deck is accessible from the main living area as well as from the front deck and walkway to the rear. Off the rear deck is a new raised private walkway to your beach. There is an upper deck off the primary bedroom with spectacular 180 degree view of Cape Cod Bay. The front deck — with a view of a tranquil marsh — connects to the rear decks with a walkway.

This centrally air conditioned and natural gas heated home offers all the amenities to make your stay care free, relaxing, and enjoyable year round.

No need to purchase a visitor beach sticker from the town! The 50 foot wide private beach is a great place for sunning, shelling, walking, and swimming during the day and for building an evening fire pit for your party to complete your day. Enjoy the sounds both night and day of the soothing surf.

In addition to two indoor showers, there is a large private outdoor shower to wash off the day at the beach — a Cape tradition.

On the deck outside the kitchen is a large stainless steel propane BBQ grille and burner with a stainless steel work table.

Bedrooms all have ceiling fans. First floor bedroom has a bunk with a double on the bottom and a twin on the top. Upstairs bedrooms include one with a Select Comfort king bed and access to a private deck with amazing views of the beach and bay. The second bedroom has a queen bed and fabulous view of the beach and bay.

Two full bathrooms each have toilet, vanity, and walk in shower.

Parking is off street in a private driveway that will accommodate 2-3 cars.

Maximum occupancy is 6 people at all times (enforced) — including daytime beach use. We keep a beautiful home by strict limits on numbers. And by following the town’s rental property ordinance for max number of guests based on property size and number of bathrooms and beds. We are a quiet environment providing a memorable Cape experience. Older children / responsible teenagers are most welcome as part of a family.

The beach views from the master bedroom balcony were stunning! Access to the beach was easy with the recently built walkway over the dunes. The kitchen amenities were beyond my expectations! The bathroom had a very large shower. We were very pleased with Margie, the host; her communication was excellent. We experienced our first Nor’easter with two days of rain and high winds. The house had flashlights, tools, first aid kit, very well equipped for storms. The instruction manual prepared by the owners was very detailed, very helpful. Thank you for letting us enjoy your beachfront home.

Amazing, Beautiful, Perfect Getaway in May!

Such a beautiful oceanfront home! The privacy of the dunes, the ocean view from both bedrooms, cozy bedrooms, comfortable beds and accessible manager are the highlights. Well-stocked kitchen with dishes, serving platters, glasses, mug, utensils, etc. great location close to bookstore and shops of Sandwich.

Fabulous mid October 2023

I appreciated the owner’s willingness to allow us to share their home as if it were ours. It’s not often to have an opportunity to enjoy 2 weeks of a break from the day to day. It’s as if time stood still. My greatest gratitude to you, the service and to the owner. We love the fall season in this area as it is very quite, you only hear the waves. Plenty of antique shops and great places for food. The market not far away is a must. I hope to make reservations again in the upcoming years. My heart felt thanks to you!

The oceanfront location was absolutely perfect. We especially appreciated the new boardwalk, which made crossing the dunes to the beach effortless and enjoyable. The shoreline was dotted with stunning quartz and granite stones that gently washed ashore like smooth river rocks. Our children collected these unique treasures just as much as the seashells. Be sure to pack water shoes to comfortably explore the beach.The home itself is beautifully and comfortably furnished, with exquisite artwork that reflects the care and investment poured into making this space truly special. The customized closets, for example, made unpacking a breeze and kept our belongings neatly organized throughout our stay. While the downstairs bedroom lacks a built-in closet, the rolling garment rack provided a convenient alternative. The upstairs bathroom is spacious and served as our main shower area. Although the downstairs bathroom features a smaller shower, we found it perfect as a powder room, conveniently located between the kitchen and family room. The views from the second-story bedrooms and the upstairs deck are breathtaking. With a public beach on one side, the right side of the house and the queen bedroom upstairs offer stunning vistas of rolling dunes meeting the ocean. Despite its proximity to the public beach, the home felt wonderfully private, creating a serene and relaxing atmosphere.This home truly exudes character and charm, thank you for sharing it with our family.

Sister’s Weekend

Our group consisted of 5 sisters over the age of 40. Our tradition is getting together ( just the sisters no spouses or kids) at the Cape every year in late September; which over the years has been hit or miss weather wise. This house is situated on a beautiful beach, which unfortunately this year the weather was a miss due to hurricane Fiona passing by. We were very comfortable in the house which apparently was not freshly cleaned for us. It wasn’t dirty, but may have been sitting empty for a couple weeks and just had a lot of cob webs and spiders taking up residence. The house was very comfortable however, and had most of the things we needed. We loved playing games at the large dinning table. The area is very nice too and we loved dinning at the Pilot House and Amari’s. If you are thinking of renting this house, I suggest you pay the extra for the linens. It was a hassle packing all the towels and sheets. There were no hand towels in the bathrooms provided and we all forgot those. Also, no throw blankets to wrap up in when cold. The outside garbage bin where we were told to put our garbage was filled with other peoples garbage and it made it difficult putting ours in the bin. The host was apologetic and also unaware as to why garbage was still in there. Margie, the host was excellent. She always responded right away and answered all of our questions. I still think this beach home is worth booking. I can only imagine it is awesome in the summer!

A slice of heaven

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy beachfront home. We only have good things to report. It has everything one could ask for in a beach home. It is also very conveniently located with supermarket, restaurants, etc. all within 10 minute drive. We're already planning to come back next year.

Wonderful property in a stunning location

We had a fabulous stay here and can’t wait to go back! House was well stocked and layout/location was ideal for our party of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids). Being so close to the beach was amazing and the views from the master bed / deck were stunning.

Summer Cape week

This property has modern upgrades was very clean and enjoyable for a small family beach trip. The water views are on bedroom level only, there was a good dune hike to get over to the beach. My legs got a workout, but could be mentioned for elderly or handicap potential guests. Overall great space and great location and quiet.
