The house was amazing! It was very clean and comfortable. The beds are very comfortable and tbe kitchen has everything you need. The scenery is amazing through the wall of windows. We saw a mink and a bald eagle. Communication with the owners was great. We really hope to go back.
Stayed for a weekend get away with my husband, mom, 3 year old, and dog. Perfect amount of space and the views were gorgeous! Nice, quiet neighborhood. Very relaxing get away!!
We had a great time and Gina is a great host! The house has an amazing view and is very comfortable. Kitchen is nice and glad they had a Keurieg.I absolutely recommend this lovely home! You won’t be disappointed!
The house was great. Clean. The bed was very comfy. Dry wood for a fall fire to take the chill away. Also, very quick response from the owner to any questions or concerns. Would definitely stay again.
Very peaceful and comfortable place to stay. It was easy to get to, had everything we needed, and within 10-30 min from to a lot of great small towns on both sides of the Mississippi. The host was very responsive to messages.
We loved the open concept for the living/dining area. Beds were comfortable. The windows facing the river allowed us to see 2 deers and a fox go by, but the trees limit the view to the water. We took walks in the neighborhood and felt very safe.
Comfortable bed and quiet environment. Clean and spacious. Enjoyed viewing blue jays, woodpeckers and cardinals while having our delicious, complimentary keurig coffee. Nice backyard fire ring for the evening with wood. Would stay there again.
The House on the River was in a quiet neighborhood. Spacious and well stocked with everything you could need. Beautiful bedding and comfortable beds. Great bird watching. Host was quick to respond to questions.
Our stay was wonderful. The porch was my favorite spot to sit and read, while having coffee and watching all the birds. We love this home on the river and it’s a great location if you are headed to town or just looking to get away. Gina and Troy are excellent hosts and provide all the necessities.
We had a great stay at House On The River. The house was spacious and clean and well laid out. The fire place worked great and there was plenty of firewood. Views of the river was great to watch the boats and barges go by. A pair of Bald Eagles took residents right in the back yard! There's a whole bunch of games to play and lots of comfortable seating through out the house. The kitchen was well stocked and the Keurig coffee machine has vast array of flavors to choose from. Downtown Wabasha is only a couple minutes away. Both the queen beds were vary comfortable. Try highway 60 west for a great scenic drive! If your a Jim Hansel fan, they several paintings.
It was a super nice cabin! Very clean and the sun room was a great touch :) There were a bunch of birds all over the property and the chirping created a great relaxing ambience. We only wished there was access to the water but overall it was a super nice stay, would come back!
