Beautiful property for a girls weekend! There was so much room for all 8 of us to hang out, relax, cook, eat, play games, etc. The amenities were perfect from the the hot tub, trampoline, fire pit, Bluetooth speakers, to the fully equipped kitchen. This was a perfect stay and if given the opportunity I’d happily choose this place again! Highly recommend!

Great for a girls trip!

Beautiful cabin, perfect for a getaway with friends or for families! Huge hot tub, really comfortable beds, great gathering spaces, super clean, and quick drive to town. This was our second year staying at the Splendid Cabin and we will definitely be back again next year!

What a great property. We booked for an annual girls weekend. This space worked great for the 9 of us with room to spare. The cabin was clean and worked well for our group. The smoke alarms were a bit to sensitive for Lasagna night and hated the shrimp but they turned off once we added some air flow and honestly it added a funny story to our adventure. The few questions I had for the hosts were answered quickly. We would ABSOLUTELY stay here again and would recommenced to anyone looking for a laid back location. Thank you for hosting and allowing us to create some more amazing memories together!

We had a group of ladies that have celebrated girls' weekends for 20 years and this was the best rental property that we have stayed in thus far! There was plenty of room for all of us. The cabin is very well stocked, clean and absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing this with us!

Lake Pepin Area Vacation

Nice cabin for our family of 5 adults and 4 children. The kids loved the trampoline and hot tub and having their own room in basement. Comfortable beds and loved the open area and large dining room.

Lovely Weekend Away!

The perfect cabin for a low-key girls weekend getaway. Clean, cozy, convenient. There was plenty of space to hang out, and we loved getting to curl up around the fireplace.

Great long weekend

The cabin was as pictures and a very enjoyable house, yard for some small games, and easy access into town. The interior was spacious and allowed for us to comfortably spread out but still feel like a cabin. Would certainly stay here again if we vacation back in Lake City!

Beautiful, spacious and updated cabin! We loved the huge (and clean!) hot tub, comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, large dining table for playing games, proximity to town and more. We'll be back!

3 sisters and their husbands came fishing

The property is wonderful. We loved our stay. We spent the days on the lake and the evening hanging at the house. The house is clean and just like the pics. Quiet neighborhood. The beds had great pillows and sheets.

Loved it!

Perfect for a long weekend with four generations of families. We jumped on the trampoline, used the hot tub, made many meals, and played games on the large table. Loved that they had everything for kids including a huge toy closet!! Will be back!

Great Cabin

Loved the cabin and hot tub. Plenty of bedding and kitchen items. Few minor repairs/updates need to be done but we would still stay there again. The road to the cabin is a little run down and some houses and buildings in bad shape but the cabins property is good.

The perfect cabin ambience

This was exactly what we were looking for when we set out to find a cabin weekend. The rustic, log home was the perfect setting for our vacation. A gorgeous view of snow covered trees down to a frozen Mississippi River was eye catching from inside as well as from the hot tub. It was secluded but still only a short drive from town when we needed to make a grocery run. We would definitely stay here again.

The cabin was perfect! There were 6 of us adults celebrating our son’s graduation from WSU. There was tons of space for all of us. The little details were perfect like beach towels by the hot tub and fans in every room. We had so much fun and are already talking about going back!

The cabin is spacious and relaxing. We enjoyed playing games by the fireplace and soaking in the hot tub while it snowed. So magical! Great communication from the host too. We will be back.

We enjoyed our stay while attending a family wedding in the area. It was very comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace. It is off a dirt road, on a dead end street, but is close to the main highway going to Lake City.

We were so excited when we found this property for a girls' weekend! It's clear the owners take great pride in it, and we felt so lucky to have been in such a beautiful home for our getaway. From the gorgeous fireplace to the vinyl record player, and from the beautifully appointed bedrooms and baths to the warm and inviting great room, every detail and accommodation exceeded our expectations! We felt like guests and also family. Thank you for such a lovely space for us to share laughter and memories in!
