The unit is in a great location however it is in need of updating. The price is good compared to others but there was an unwanted guest that we couldn’t seem to get rid of in the kitchen. We appreciated being moved to a better quality unit.

Relaxing stay

Overall we had a very enjoyable stay. We could hear the ocean surf which was a nice and an unexpected plus. The bed was comfy and the place was plenty spacious for 2.

Another day in Paradise!!

Loved the location of this property! I had my morning walk on the beach to watch the sunrise and it took me minutes to get to the beach! It was clean, bed comfortable, loved having washer/dryer! Loved that the shower worked so well-great water pressure! Thank you for a great stay at a resonable price! I'd love to come and stay again soon!

Great place for a getaway!

We loved our stay. Took walks on the gorgeous grounds every day. Close to the beach and the pool. The place is spacious and comfortable. Would definitely come back!

Poipu Sands 418 does not offer AC. The property has an interior rating of deluxe, and the photos of the condo are of the actual furniture so that should not have been a surprise to you. Clean and well equipped apartment. Has ocean views. Nice outdoor loungers They only thing that makes it 4 stars not 5 is furniture. Very old and very uncomfortable and no TV in bedroom. But would stay again.

A piece of paradise.

My husband and I spent five nights and it was wonderful. Very close to the ocean so we could hear the surf when we were sitting on the lanai. The unit is well stocked with lots of extras. We made good use of the cooler, snorkel set and the in suite laundry. There was also tennis equipment. We would definitely stay here again.

The property is very old and tired. It needs some obvious updates. It was functional but still needs many improvements. The cottage cheese ceilings, fans, carpeting and the bathtub. One of the kitchen cabinet doors hinge was broken and a lamp in the bedroom shade was broken. We wouldn’t be recommending it to future travelers.

Small details really.” Since you indicated no need for assistance, our team respected your wishes and did not intervene during your stay. Therefore , your three-star rating was unexpected, as the concerns mentioned were neither reported as issues to be resolved nor described as significant at the time. We take honesty and communication seriously and rely on guests to share any concerns so we can promptly address them. We would have corrected anything had we been asked. 35th Wedding Anniversary Trip

We traveled to the beautiful island of Kauai to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. We had a great time staying at this condo. It's true what is often said....location, location, location! The condo is located right next to the Grand Hyatt Resort and the grounds of the condo are landscaped nicely. The condo, itself, is located within steps of the beach and is nicely furnished and made us feel at home. The bed is king-sized and very comfortable and the condo is furnished with all the comforts of home.

Nice place in Poipu!

Though we didn't love the South shore, our place was in a nice location and there was ease with checking in. The mattress pad on the bed is a thick piece of foam that looks like it has been on the bed for hundreds of guests and it made me feel uneasy about the cleanliness of the place. It just felt like a very "lived in" place. But again, the size of the place, the kitchen, and the location was fabulous!

Exactly as presented

The condo was exactly as presented in the listing! Ocean view from the lanai and less than 100 yards from the walking path. We attended a wedding and reception on the Hyatt property and it was a short walk there and back on the paved path. Condo was very spacious for a 1 bedroom, and was extremely clean. Although we did not do any cooking, the kitchen was stocked with everything needed to make meals. The only improvement would be additional towel bars in the bathroom in order to thoroughly dry towels between showers. We will definitely stay here again!!

Great little unit minutes from the beach!

Visited Poipu for a wedding next door at the Hyatt, the proximity of this unit could not have been better! Everything we needed was provided, very clean and well maintained! My husband and I would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone else visiting Poipu.
