Sunset Kahili 506, Spectacular Views 1BR condo

A lovely condo overlooking the blue Pacific. Fully equipped and furnished by the owners with much attention to detail. The fully equipped kitchen is both lovely and very convenient for preparing meals and snacks. You will want to visit the local Sunshine Markets for fresh produce to include in your culinary creations.

Take in wonderful ocean views from indoors as well as from your private lanai. Watch for humpback whales in winter, and playful dolphins and sea turtles year-round. It’s just a short walk to beautiful Poipu Beaches nearby.

World-famous Poipu Beach Park, Spouting Horn and the National Tropical Botanical Gardens are all close by. Just past the Grand Hyatt in Poipu is a great hiking trail. There are many activities near-by to enjoy seasonal swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, surfing, paddle boarding, windsurfing, kayaking, hiking, fishing, boat tours and flight seeing aboard helicopters.
For days you feel like staying close to home, you can always lounge by the swimming pool and take a refreshing dip whenever you please.

Firstly, the patio with the amazing ocean view was where we spent most of our time while at the condo. For coffee and breakfast or sunset drinks it was the perfect setting. We loved having chairs and a cooler available to take down to the beach, this was such a nice surprise when we checked in. The bed was very comfortable and sleeping with the windows open allowed us to hear the ocean! Check in and out was easy with the office location right next to the airport. Would definitely book this place again!

Nice ocean view condo near Poipu beach. Most of what you need for the beach is included. This is clear in the listing, but make sure you're ok without A/C if you stay here. We underestimated the heat and were quite hot in the evenings.

We had such a great stay here. It was clean, the location was great, quiet, and it had all the amenities (i.e., cooking utensils, ice maker, cleaning supplies, beach towels, chairs, washer and dryer, even a cooler!) The no AC is really not an issue as there were plenty of fans. It did not bother us. This condo was everything we could have asked for and more!

Great location and close to Poipu. Tremendous view of the ocean. Parking was easy. The building itself is dated, but has a nice pool. Check in was ok, it was slightly annoying to have to pick up a key at the rental office beforehand, whereas most other properties have digital locks to get in. The only disappointment was the cleanliness of the kitchen items - we had to wash every cup, bowl/plate, pot, and utensil before we could use it. The shower head also needed a good scrubbing. Still a good space though.

Awesome view!!

The view was amazing! In the first two days we saw whales, spinner dolphins, turtles and monk seals. The kitchen was well equipped except for a cork screw. Had to go buy a cork screw. We left it so future renters don't get here after traveling all day and find they can't open their wine ! Overall great place and a very nice pool area.

Easy to enjoy. Some of the tenants are older and set in there ways. Husband was on the phone by the pool and his voice carries and is loud. He got lectured about that. We’re kind of on edge about noise and such. We are quiet and non parties. Didn’t complain about a jack hammer going all day on the next door unit.

Easy day trips to Waimea Canyon and Hanalei Bay.Older building, but the unit’s kitchen, bathroom and flooring have all been nicely updated. It’s clean, well equipped and quiet. The pool appears to be well maintained. The designated parking space and elevator were a plus. Shout out to Kauai Vacation Rentals management for providing great service.

It felt nice to enjoy the fresh air instead of being sealed up inside. Only suggestion is to place a portable AC unit in master bedroom. To use when there aren’t any crosswinds.The location was awesome—quiet and peaceful but close enough to beaches, food spots, and fun things to do. The hosts were super friendly and even left us a welcome basket with local treats. That was such a nice surprise!If you're looking for a chill Hawaiian getaway, this is the spot. A Wonderful Stay at Sunset Kahili Condos

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I had a wonderful time during several weeks staying at Sunset Kahili Condos. The condo was clean, well stocked, and we had a clear view of the ocean for whale watching. The grounds are well kept.Given the current Covid situation we did plenty of cooking in the condo - we did add a sharp knife and a stick-free pan to the kitchen gear. The re-modeled kitchen was a wonderful surprise!Having the grill available was a bonus!We loved being able to walk to the beach to check on the monk seals and turtles. :-)Dealing with the rental agency was highly professional, and check-in and out directions were clear and easy to follow.We are repeat renters and look forward to returning.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The perfect Poipu location, on the highest floor with breathtaking ocean views for miles! The apartment was immaculate and thoughtfully furnished...right down to ice water and ice cubes upon arrival! This is a smaller, vintage complex (which personally I love!) so you get a unit that has more room overall and a colorful Hawaiian character than some bland resort. The grounds are pristine, including a pool that changes color! However it is not a new property, but impeccably maintained. The unit itself was entirely upgraded and looks exactly like the photos. There was an assigned parking space and so easy to load and unload. Personally I love an elevator! There is no way I could carry my luggage up five flights, so that was super important to me. There wasn’t an AC but I immediately opened the windows and the trades and fans kept it cool. A wonderful unit!
