Our holiday home "Hochharz" is in
Benneckenstein on the high plateau of the Harz Mountains, where the Harz narrow-gauge railway has been running for over 100 years and also has a train station. Benneckenstein is an experience in summer and winter. Whether hiking or cycling through the forests and meadows in the area, as well as using the cross-country slopes and the ski hiking trails or the ski lift.
Joy and relaxation is guaranteed. As it is located at the top, it is also very suitable for older citizens.
Benneckenstein is so centrally located that there are excursion destinations for every day.
The mountains in the middle of Germany offer an abundance of natural beauties and places of art-historical interest, including their mountains and - their lakes, caves and sanctuaries, their monasteries and churches, castles and half-timbered towns as well as the impressive testimonies of the mining history of more than a thousand years
 The house has about 120m ² of living space and is newly modern for you with living room, dining room, kitchen, three separate bedrooms, 2 shower rooms and in summer the furnished large balcony. (40m²) with a view of the hiking area and ski lift. The balcony can be used by smokers, there is an ashtray.
Bedroom 1 was furnished for you with comfort foam mattress »Wellness« and double bed and a cot.
In bedroom 2 there is a double bed with new pocket spring mattresses and a sofa bed which you can book if necessary after prior agreement.
2 single beds are in the bedroom 3 * 1 bed 0.90 x 2.00 m * 1 bed 1.40 x 2.00 m both with comfort foam mattress and a day bed that can be booked as an extra bed if required and registration.
The kitchen has an electric stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine. Kettle, toaster, egg cooker and dishes set up, so a complete kitchen.
Living room has a sofa, wall unit and flat screen TV.
