This cabin was fantastic and perfect for our family vacation with 8 adults and 7 kids ages 6 and younger. Ally at the management company was extremely helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend this cabin.

Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom which is a luxury with a large group. The large deck and view of the slopes is relaxing. The open floor plan with kitchen, dining table, game room and living room area is sufficient for group of 14. The house is updated and nicely decorated. Although the "rough" slate tile floors throughout the house are beautiful it may be an issue for toddlers. The only downside to the house is the staircase from the bottom floor bedrooms and entry door to the second floor living area and two master suites. It is "slightly" steep and has the slate tile. It creates a potential safety issue for elderly people like myself. I recommend this location especially for couples.

Great location

Great location, fantastic large open floor plan in kitchen and family room with vaulted ceilings. Only thing I would recommend would be supply more cooking pans, and possibly stock a few seasonings, cooking oil and Kleenex in the restrooms would be amazing.

Beautiful Home with Fantastic View

Our drive to Big Bear was challenging -- the road was completely socked in by clouds, and it is a long, extremely curvy and steep mountain road that is not for the faint of heart! We were so relieved when we arrived and opened all the blinds. The sun was finally out, and the view was splendid. The large deck was relaxing -- just what we needed. The house itself was clearly built with all the best materials and attention to detail. The master suite is a true retreat. I would love to have that type of experience in my own home. The kitchen is also fantastic. We did have one problem, which may not affect most people. Two of the members of our party have severe allergies to perfumes, and all of the sheets and blankets were washed with scented detergent and dried with scented laundry sheets. We washed all of the bedding the first night, but the smell lingered. The beautiful throws on the couches had the same smell, which permeated the couches themselves so we had to sit on the kitchen chairs. We understand that most people can probably tolerate the scents, but it would be great if the cleaners could switch to unscented laundry products. While the house itself is amazing, it would be nice to have more lighting on the stairwell and in the downstairs bathroom. The lighting in the upstairs 1/2 bath and in the master suite was excellent. We spent a lot of time on the deck watching the birds fly above and below us. It is a great place to relax and commune with nature.

Our family of 12 had a wonderful time and enjoyed the amenities this home had. We cooked alot during the week and had plenty of dishes, pots and pans and utensils. Many places do not accommodate renters like they do. Big bear had plenty to keep us busy. All in all a wonderful family vacation
