Katie was very friendly and help full. She went over everything and gave us a tour of the property. The house is very clean and roomy. Anyone looking for a place to stay while fishing this place is a dream. We had an incredible time. Look forward to definitely staying there again.
Third time stay at this location and booked my fourth while i was there couldn't be happier with location and setting. Host checked in with us before we arrived and was available when we called with questions. We frequent this area a few times a year and couldn't ask for a better stay its truly a home away from home.
Very clean was our first impression aswell as ideal location for our wants and needs couldn't be happier

BEAUTIFUL EXPERIENCE! The cabin is cozy, comfortable, and clean. Perfect if you need to disconnect from work, social media, and screens. You can find farms around the property where you can buy fresh products. If you are trying to spend quality time with your loved ones this is the right place to do so. We certainly will come back soon.
The cabin served our family of 7 well. It was clean, met all of our needs and gave us an opportunity to relax and spend time together. Our kids enjoyed fishing in the pond and kayaking and swimming in the creek. The location was ideal for two day trips to Niagara Falls and we throughly enjoyed the firework show in Lyndonville on the 4th of July. If ever returning to the area, we will certainly book the property again.
We stayed at the cabin in the winter and it was perfect. 40 private acres is amazing. The cabin was perfect for our family. The pond, trails, creek and hills were all great and provided us with plenty to do right on property. We finally got some snow so we could try out the sleds on the hills and had so much fun. The owner was easy to contact and set up an additional day so we could enjoy the snow.
We loved everything about this property. The cabin was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was adequately supplied.
We were there to see Niagara Falls and Lake Ontario and my kids would have been content to stay at the cabin the whole time we were there. They loved to explore the trails and catch frogs at the pond. We spent alot of time down at the creek swimming, hammocking and fishing. Thanks for letting us stay at this beautiful property!
Our family (2 adults, 4 kids) truly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The cabin itself would have been amazing enough, but the trails, pond and river just made it that much more of an escape from the real world. The cabin is perfectly located between Niagara/Buffalo and Rochester. This allowed us easy rides to Niagara Falls, and two trips to Rochester to see the Red Wings play and go to the Planetarium. Hamlin State park was a nice location to swim as well. Overall, this was one of the top rated places we’ve stayed over the years, as the cabin had everything we needed and the location was breathtaking.
Again this year we came in early November to fish for steelhead and brown trout. It seemed a bit that we were not at peak run for those species but nobody can ever time it right every time.
The cabin was as usual well maintained, clean and comfortable. The host Katie responded quickly to a couple questions we had. This is our third year here and we enjoy the easy access to the Johnson Creek. We will definitely be back again next year.
This was our third stay at this cabin on the Johnson. The new steps up to the loft are a vast improvement over the old ladder. Quality and cleanliness continue to be of the highest standard. The kitchen is well stocked and overall the cabin is very comfortable, including the beds. And then there is the fishing...we had a really spectacular number of salmon and brown trout in the waters. You can never time it right every year, but this year we hit it just right. The result was lots of fish caught by all five of us. We definitely be back next fall.
Wow! Our trip could not have been better. This cabin was amazing and met/exceeded our expectations.
We had children that kept busy outdoors exploring, fisihing, kayaking, bon fires, etc...and had a great time. I walked the well kept trails every day. This cabin had EVERYTHING we needed. I packed "just in case" items i never used.
Our host Katie was just as amazing and responded to our inquiries immediately.
Thank you Katie for sharing your beautiful cabin with strangers. Our family is grateful and we pray to come back often.
Another fantastic stay at Katie’s cabin. This was our 2nd stay. The cabin is clean and comfortable. The beds provide restful sleep, and the kitchen is well stocked. The property is incredible. The well maintained hiking trails make it so easy to get around the property and to Johnson Creek for great fishing. One of my favorite spots is the back porch swing. The cabin sits on top of a rise and you can view the property and the pond from the swing. Communication with Katie was excellent. We were delighted when she brought us a replacement light bulb and shared a few moments with us. Since we have family who live in this area, we look forward to staying here again.
Very nice cabin on a secluded property. Used it for our annual fishing trip and everything was very clean and as described. We have been staying at different property’s for past 10 years and this was the best so far.
Cabin was extremely clean and well maintained. Katie showed us around the property and great fishing access to Johnson Creek.
Will definitely rent again!
We had a great time and as we came to fish we found the access to the Johnson Creek easy and the fish were definitely in the waters. We may have been a little early for brown trout but we caught plenty of salmon and a few browns.
The cabin is clean and comfortable and the addition of the stairs to the loft make it easily accessible. I was there in the spring when there was a ladder to the loft, and it was kind of tough on an old guy like me, so thanks for the stairway to the loft. The kitchen is well stocked and there were lots of condiments and stuff in the fridge. All in all, a very nice time, comfortable beds, etc. Katie is very quick to respond if you have a question. Definitely will return next spring to chase steelhead.
