Description is spot on. House is big and spacious and very nicely furnished. Kitchen is great - great family meals were made together. Lots of kids toys for inside and out. We have already booked our stay for next summer!Property owner and manager very responsive to questions and they made sure to check in mid week to see if we needed anything.
We loved our stay this past Memorial Day weekend. Love the views. The house is well stocked and had everything we needed for indoor and outdoor fun. My elderly parents also really appreciated the ramp and first floor bedroom.
This house and location were incredible for our little family gathering.

Wedding weekend!
Great house--a little trouble checking in but house and amenities were top notch! We kayaked, did fire pit evenings and hosted family from all over. thank you for a wonderful stay!
We so enjoyed all this house had to offer. Very comfortable and spacious rooms with a fantastic kitchen. The views are amazing!
We had beautiful, outside, fireside meals and s’mores as the sun fell from the sky giving us the most beautiful sunsets to snuggle.
The home is everything we thought it would be and more! Every morning we enjoyed our coffee while gazing out over the water at the picture windows! All of the beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious! We used this as a home base to visit Portland, Freeport, Kennebunkport, White Mountains, Bar Harbor, and Acadia National Park. Such a beautiful place to start and end our days! Wish we had more time to just spend a day at the house!
Awesome place, right on the bay which provides beautiful scenery! Everything was clean and there was more stuff provided than I had expected! Very fun trip, everyone agreed this place was awesome.
We loved our stay at this beautiful home in Harpswell! Great house with everything we needed, including a wonderfully wheelchair accessible bathroom. Thank you for a perfect vacation-can’t wait to book for next summer!
Beautiful and comfortable home. Views fabulous, kayaks too much fun!...I love the mgr, Denise, very receptive. We go to Maine at least once a year, hoping to hit this home again as its lovely.
This place is spacious with great amenities and location can’t be beat. Fantastic waterfront views and beautiful sunsets. Quiet location and feels private with the neighbors a comfortable distance away. We loved kayaking in the mornings and afternoons and having bonfires in the evenings. The game room upstairs and the toys and board games kept my kids entertained and insisting that we come back. Dog friendly, and I appreciated the easy checkout without an extensive chores list.
We snuck in a long weekend getaway/birthday celebration and had a fantastic time! The home easily accommodated our group of 11, was nicely laid out, had a great yard and the waterfront location and views were beautiful. We just sat back and took it all in. We loved the location and will be keeping an eye out for homes for sale in the area!! Thank you!
First impression was from the lawn not being mowed as it contained 2 to 3 foot tall weeds etc. We like to play croquet. Very little firewood for the firepit. These were corrected by the owner/caretaker. Water was not drinkable and dishwasher when cleaned had an off smell to it. Despite this, the place had the perfect location and was a wonderful vacation for our family for 2 weeks.
This property was even better than the listing implied. The house is situated on a lovely stretch of cove near the end of a finger of land. There are beautiful low-tide walks from the house, and only one that requires a car. The beach next to the house makes easy access to plunging/swimming.
The house has large windows that overlook the cove, making winter nature watching amazing, especially during storms. There were plenty of birds, including bald eagles. Sunsets from the second floor were perfect.
The house was very clean and airy, and the beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of hot water for seven people.
The owner was very responsive and readily accommodated my adding a night.
The only complaint we had was the strong smell of laundry soap or softener on the bedding.
I would definitely rent this property again.
Location and house itself were lovely and as expected and beautiful. Undrinkable water was not expected and should be put on the sinks as we did not see the notes on the 2nd fridge before we had drank it and gave it to our dog. The furniture needs updating too, nothing matches anything, the rocker recliners were dirty and broken, bar stools don’t match each other and one has a huge chip in it, the Velcro sectional couch kept coming apart and was very uncomfortable. The water did not come out of the spigot in one of the bathtubs, only from the shower. We only had one used sponge and 2 dish towels for our kitchen cleanup. The drawers have crumbs in them and need to be wiped out. But it was well stocked kitchen and plenty of bath towels in the bathrooms. The beds were comfortable and sheets were nice. The outdoor space was great!

The view from this house is amazing!! The beds were comfortable and there is plenty of room for a large family or multiple families to stay at this home. The games and pool table in the upstairs balcony were a hit for our family on the rainy day when we were visiting. However, there are several issues within the home that need to be addressed and others should be aware of before booking here. The shower on the main floor cannot be used due to water leaking all out into the floor of the bathroom and therefore renders it useless so there are only two complete bathrooms for use. One of the showers upstairs clearly had a leak because water damage was visible on the wall near the base of the floor just outside the shower and that shower also leaks through the ceiling into the bedroom just below it where there is also a visible water problem on the ceiling. The dishwasher was very dirty and had an awful smell. As one other person mentioned in another review, the water has an awful slimy feel and doesn’t leave you feeling truly clean. Overall, the stay was okay and we feel like the saving grace for this home is the view! I just want to make anyone else who is looking to rent this house aware of the issues you will be faced with when staying here.
We are a group of 9 lady cousins who get together a couple of times a year to catch up on life’s happenings. We chose this house because of the beauty of its location, the size and layout of the home to accommodate us and the large kitchen area. The home did not disappoint! The kitchen was well stocked and had 2 fridges which worked out great for us. There was plenty of room for us to spread out and a large dining table for us to gather for meals and game playing…oh, and there is a game room as well!!
The home was very clean.
We also met the caretaker who is a wonderful lady. She made herself available for anything we may need.
The view from this big and beautiful home is to die for!
This home is definitely on our list for a return stay!
The ocean was right up to the property, which made the teens and kids thrilled to go out and explore the tide pools at low tide, and kayaking the bay at high tide. Bedrooms and entire home was spacious. Ample necessities were provided and of good quality. The home is luxurious feeling and far enough away from city life that you can shut it out when you want, but plug in and access points of interest when you are ready for more action. Definitely recommend.
Booked this house for a birthday long weekend celebration. House is beautiful with ample space. Amazing views with great decks and outdoor spaces. Star gazers and nature lovers will not be disappointed! The game room with pool table and old school arcade games made the stay extra fun. Would highly recommend.
My family of 5 and I stayed in this home during Christmas holidays and the photos don’t do this justice. This is a wonderful property, in a wonderful area and the property owner is beyond gracious. He has a maintenance and cleaning crew who are very responsive and so nice! I will be staying here again if I am in the area again! Thank you so much for your hospitality.
If you plan for a large group to stay at this house / it will sleep 6 adults and 4 children comfortably. There is a fourth room (not shown) that may possibly have been an office that has 2 beds. This room is adjacent to the laundry and water softener pumps. Which can be loud at various times . The house has an amazing view off the kitchen. The fire pit is a great addition. And fully stocked with wood. We highly recommend the house. The area and the view. We would definitely rent this home again
We were in town for a family wedding. This location gave us plenty of room for everyone to get ready. We really enjoyed the beautiful view. We had all that we needed to prepare family meals.
Very impressed! Super clean and spacious. We had 8 adults on the trip and it never felt crowded. Highly recommend this place
