We thoroughly enjoyed our family vacation. Michael was a gracious host who made the check-in process seamless and provided a wealth of information on the region. The cabin was spotless and equipped with everything we needed. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed. The location was perfect--close to everything we needed but still secluded enough to ensure privacy and tranquility. We look forward to returning on our next trip!

Clean and extremely well kept home. Bathrooms and kitchen well stocked. Michael was welcoming and provided lots of good advice on local hikes, wineries, etc.Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing mountain getaway!

Michael was a very helpful host, and met us when we arrived to show us around. Very peaceful house with two wonderful screen porches. We spent lots of time on the one off of the kitchen. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed and the bed was comfortable. Easy to find and drive up to the cabin. We hope to stay there again on our next trip to beautiful Virginia.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hideaway cabin. The cabin is confortable, well taken care of and was in pristine conditions at our arrival. It had all the amenities to ensure we had a pleasant stay. Private, beautifully situated, serene, surrounded by nature made it the perfect place for our vacation. My family and I stayed for a week, were able to hike the trails in Shenandoah NP, tour historical homes in the area, visit the famous Luray caves, play and rest! Perfect place to decompress. Michael was a very attentive host from the beginning ensuring we had a smooth arrival, pleasant stay and even follow up after our departure. Thank you Michael for your hospitality! We are planning our future trip to the area and will definitely return to the Hideaway cabin.

The Contemporary Cabin was absolutely gorgeous! It is situated in the perfect quiet spot close to many hiking trails. It was well stocked with essentials and was a super comfortable stay. Would highly recommend and would love to visit again

Relaxing Getaway!

We had a wonderfully relaxing few day stay in Syria. The location is perfect for easy backside access to key trails in Shenandoah NP without having to go to Skyline Dr. The house is bright and well-equipped.

great place to stay

the house is absolutely terrific. it is extremely well kept, fully stocked, well appointed and comfortable. the grounds are beautiful and there is a peacefulness to the whole place. there were several hikes close by so the location is great. would stay there again in a heartbeat.
