The cabin was exceptionally clean and the beds were comfortable. The outside temperature dropped to 21 degrees overnight and the cabin stayed super warm. Quiet and serene! We'll definitely go back.
Loved the house, the porch, the location! We had a wonderful time at this property and would strongly recommend it to anyone else.

Nice cabin, very cozy. Good proximity to local hiking and the lake
Beautiful cozy, yet roomy, cabin with a historic feel, but with plenty of modern amenities. Very quiet area and nice small yard with wonderful screened in porch perfect for eating meals, etc. No AC but very well ventilated with several easy-to-open screened windows in all the main rooms. Fans provided in living area and bedrooms. Beds, pillows, and bed and bath linens were excellent.
Great visit wonderful house. Turns out our friends we were visiting lived in the house back in the fifties. Great memories of the neighborhood. House is extremely well appointed especially the kitchen and the rest is very comfortable. The screened porch is special, especially for meals. Like sitting in a tree house. Only recommendation I would make is the house could benefit from some ceiling fans in the bedrooms and living room. Other than that it’s perfect.
Great location. Very clean and cute. Seating area in living room is uncomfortable. Home does not have air conditioning, got very hot. We opened windows, thankfully there was a breeze. Would be the perfect place if air conditioning was available.

Peaceful stay at Mountain Peace cabin
What a wonderful old cabin with great ambiance that entices you to sit back and relax. Quiet neighborhood just a few streets up from the lake. Updated bathroom and kitchen with all the utensils you’ll need. Never used the AC; a couple of partially open windows, and we were cool enough with cool mountain air coming in (late September). For just a couple, it was great!

Mountain Cabin
We liked the style of the log cabin house and the rock fireplace. It was also spacious for our family. We didn’t really use the kitchen stuff. I would recommend if you like the mountain feel. Just be aware of the checkout time. We missed that in the booking.
We took our boys to celebrate our son's adoption, and they simply loved it. From the mini golf, walking around the beautiful lake to playing pickle ball. The cabin was lovely and had all the amenities you could ask for. The location was perfect, you could see a little bit of the lake from the back yard, but perhaps in the summer when the trees are filled with leaves you may not be able to see it. The cabin does have heating, but no A/C, so I'm not sure how comfortable it would be during the summer weather.Thank you Vacasa for a memorable vacation.

My mom and I stayed here on our 2 day trip to Lake Junaluska. The house was very nice and had everything we needed. We did have an issue accessing the washer & dryer which is in the basement. (The door is accessed from outside and was locked) but the maintenance man Jason was quick to come out & unlock. He was very friendly & told us to let him know if we needed anything. We also had a bit of trouble getting the front door's electronic lock to work so we ended up using the back door instead.

We stayed here for a long weekend. Lake Junaluska has always been a special place for our family, so it was the perfect setting for this cabin. It was very clean. Bathroom and kitchen have been renovated but much of the rest of the home is original and extremely well kept. Living room is very cozy with a fireplace made of river rock. The screened porch is perfect for hanging out with friends and family. The home has heat but no a/c. Still very comfortable. It doesn’t get too hot in Maggie Valley. Plus there were plenty of fans available and new windows you can open to let the breeze in. We loved this place and will stay again!
