This house was well situated and even better than advertised. For the safest/quickest/ most immersive beach vibe one needs to be east of 3rd street. From here there is a very short two block walk straight into the beach access point*. 20th street is not as busy as Jax beach around the pier. The house was exceptionally clean, the outside shower and foot height faucet were useful and appreciated. The beds are comfortable and linens, towels and beach towels are high quality. There were toys to take to the beach for adults and kids- a couple of coolers, chairs, umbrella, sand toys, a wagon. One of the unexpected highlights was riding bikes to dinner at Neptune Beach down First Street, 10 mins. This was tons of fun! Great house!*there is a local culture here of leaving one’s flipflops in the sand walk up, as walking barefoot in the sand is half the reason you’re interested in this rental. By following an ethos of embrace the local…it felt relaxing to kick off my shoes, walk away and know they would be there waiting for me.

Greetings Sandra. Dan and I checked out of your lovely and convenient beach house last weekend. We stayed for 4 weeks in March for our 2nd consecutive year. We love the quietness of the neighborhood and the 3 minute walk to the beach. It is close to all the amenities such as stores, restaurants, and the closeness to our son and his family in Ponte Vedra Beach. We also like the convenience to favorite restaurants in St. Augustine, Jax Beach as well as others We would certainly want to return in March of 2027. Let us know about availability, please. The updates to the property were noted and appreciated, such as the front yard Astro turf, new bedding in the bedrooms, etc. Hope to see you in 2027.Sue and Dan.

The house was better than advertised. The patio was perfect for our young family and there was plenty of space in the living area. Beach access was a block away. This home was perfect! Great location-a short walk to the very uncrowded beach. Right on the Jax Beach/Neptune Beach line. The house was so clean, and amazingly well stocked. There was nothing we could think of they didn’t have. Two outdoor areas-a patio with a “grass” area which our doggie enjoyed and a covered balcony with comfy chairs.Beds felt great and super soft linens! Plenty of great restaurants, grocery stores and shopping close by. Awesome vacation home!!
