Very nice home in a great quiet location. Short drive to Zephyr Cove Beach. Very close to downtown if you are interested in the casinos or hanging out or shopping at Heavenly Village. Easy communication with the host.Would definitely return to this property.

This property was great until it wasn't.The property was as listed, with the exception of a BBQ that didn't work. The host was great at communication in the beginning.Everything was fine until Monday and Tuesday morning when the construction work started at 7:30 am in front of the house. Jackhammering, tractors pulling up the asphalt, and a huge truck with a giant vacuum cleaner to clean up the mess. This was an all day project that closed the street down to one lane.Had we known about the construction, we would have chosen a different property. I reached out to the host who stated she was never notified about the construction. Be that as it may, I asked for a discount. Once that happened, the communication with the host stopped. She wouldn't ever respond to VRBO. I understand things happen and are outside of the host's control, but I'm not satisfied with the way it was handled. Without these issues, we would have stayed again, but we will not be going back.

Unfortunately, the construction situation was out of my control. I was visiting the property a few days later and wanted to make sure I investigated the situation before responding, so I could respond with facts. I spoke with both the construction company and the neighbors; there was no notice given regarding the construction. In fact, this construction project impacted several communities in South Lake Tahoe. The tenant repeatedly accused me of not providing information on the construction. The communication was stopped due to continuous false allegations. Unfortunately, the BBQ was not working, and I could not fix in time. Unfortunately, this is what happens when tenants are not honest about breaking something in a house, the next tenant is impacted. Please always report damages/breakages, so that the owner can address before the next tenant. The tenant did not mention, that I let her in the house several hours early with no additional fee to accommodate their stay, and they I provided some discount.

Family friendly

The house was great and it met our needs. I would have liked for the backyard to be mowed for it would have made our outside experience better. Overall the house was great.

Complete house

Property has everything it promises. Is is well located close to main services but also quiet enough. It has a full kitchen and probably everything you need to spend some easy time there. I had no problems during the stay and all my questions were quickly answered by Kim.

This house is updated with a nice big fenced yard. Very close to Safeway and a short drive to the beach. This is the second time we have stayed here and we will definitely rent again.

Bijou Beauty

Clean, well kept home with nice deck and private backyard. Beautiful kitchen that was well stocked and a nice gas bbq. Newer comfortable furnishings and thick bath towels. Access to garage with extras. Easy communication with owner who was very nice. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this home.

Perfect house for our family of 4 adults and 2 children

This home was a pleasant surprise to us! The decor was Bears, bears and more bears. Very cute!! The home is updated and there is plenty of room so we never felt cramped. Nice thick towels with soap, lotions and shampoo and conditioner. The kitchen has all new appliances. The back yard has a large deck, a big table sitting 8, a beautiful fenced yard with pine and aspen trees and plenty of yard for the kiddos to play. This house is in a quite residential neighborhood but close to the Lake, Safeway and shopping. The house was fully stocked. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely stay again.

Clean, comfortable and well stocked!

This home is less than a mile from the beach, Heavenly and Stateline and was beautifully upgraded and well stocked. We were so comfortable, hanging out watching TV, playing in the back yard and sleeping well in the comfortable beds. Decor is nice and we had everything we needed. There is no A/C so was a tad warm at night even with the ceiling fans, but not too bad. The owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with. I would definitely recommend this beautiful place!

I am glad you enjoyed your stay. For the most part most houses in Tahoe do not have A/C. The lows in the summer are in 50's and if you open up the house or keep the windows open overnight, the place get almost cold and stays that way all day. I have spent many July and August hot days at the house, and find it cools off nicely. Sometime it is warm on arrival as the cleaning crew secures the house with closed windows and doors. WELCOMING, COZY and HEAVENLY LOCATION!

This completely updated home is a WONDERFUL get-away. The owner has completely renovated the interior, in a manner that is modern, efficient and.....COZY! The location is literally 7 minutes from the Heavenly Lodge....and, within a 10 minute radius or less, you have everything you need for a true paradise of a getaway: groceries, shopping, entertainment and HEAVENLY SKIING...against the MAGNIFICENT backdrop of Lake Tahoe. And, let's face it: it truly impresses your friends when you tell them you skied from Nevada to California and....back...all on the same day! :-) We have rented various properties throughout the years: some were more impressive, some less....but, as the 3-bears' story goes: This property was JUST RIGHT! Immaculately kept with all the modern amenities one requires to get away from it all, cozy, comfy and definitely worth returning to. M.

Fantastic getaway

This was a fantastic quiet getaway but still within 2 miles of restaurants, casinos, and ski lifts. The house was clean and comfortable in every way. A home away from home. We look forward to staying there again.

What a great house convenient to everything. Easy access to skiing. Was easy to get downtown for dinner and lots of places close by. The place was spotless. I would defiantly recommend this place
