Disappointing and not as described
On arrival at this property it didn't look like a 'luxury apartment' as advertised, I mentioned some of the issues to the host but was unable to send photos through the app. The host then became confrontational telling me I needed to 'manage my expectations' and the cost of the property was low compared to other places nearby (this is not true) and the property is 'AS IS' (not sure what this means either im paying for a luxury property or its cheaper because its not luxury you can't have it both ways. I seriously considered booking a different property and then trying to get a refund when we returned home but as we had unpacked and were tired after a long flight we decided to make the best of it.
On our way back Daniel Shifteh the host accused us of getting paint on a 'comforter' and breaking a curtain rail, the rail was broken and attached to the wall at a 45 degree angle on arrival and we certainly did not use any paint or stain any duvets/comforters, my husband thinks he may be referring to a red/orange stain on the smallest bedroom bed cover (already there on arrival) but no photos have been sent so far.
The whole apartment is shabby and badly maintained. We had to buy a tool kit from publix on arrivial to fix locks on the jack and jill bathroom, no curtains up to one bedroom window at all, no mattress protectors and old stained mattresses. Floor and balcony really dirty although rest of apartment was clean. Overall disappointed.
