Centrally located in a quiet, mostly year-round residential neighborhood in northern Kill Devil Hills near Kitty Hawk, this house has ocean views and is within walking distance to restaurants, mini-golf, and a multi-use path with gazebos to enjoy sunsets on the sound.

This house will feel like home. Bike or walk to the beach at the Helga St. light or take advantage of one of the Outer Banks many free, public accesses with parking all along the "beach road".

We have comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, lots of deck space including a screened in porch, bikes, and beach gear.

Holly's is a perfect landing pad for your beach adventures. The ground-level entry from the carport features laundry facilities, a drink fridge, bikes, and beach gear.

In the carport under the house is an outdoor shower, gas grill, and outdoor furniture for hanging out while grilling.

Upstairs on the second level are 3 bedrooms and one full bathroom. The first bedroom on this level features a queen-sized bed, the second features a king-size bed, and the third features a single over double bunk bed. All bedrooms have TVs with streaming TV.

The top-level features a living area, dining room for 6-8 people, a full kitchen, another full bathroom, and a bedroom with a king-size bed and deck and direct bathroom access.

There is also outdoor furniture on the front deck with ocean views as well as a small screened-in, covered porch off the living area for enjoying the outdoors in rainy times.

Please note that this is a vacation rental and not a hotel. (We mean that in the absolute nicest way!) You will need to roll trash carts out for trash pickup, do dishes, etc., and leave the house reasonably as you found it.

If you use the grill, please clean it before departure for the next guests. Our cleaners do not clean grills.

We provide one set of bath towels per expected guest. We do not provide beach towels.

We provide at least the first roll of toilet paper per bathroom and one roll of paper towels. Additional needs are the guests' responsibility.

The house is located just over a block from the beach but can use bicycles or golf cart to get to the beach very quickly. The neighborhood is very quiet & people were friendly. The host was very prompt with any issues we had & looked at getting them fixed. The house made us feel just like home away from home & it was a beautiful house. I would definitely stay there again.

Everything was as advertised. Had a great time. We rode the bikes down to the sound and it was beautiful. The view of the ocean was very nice! We arrived early and the property manager let me know as soon as the property was clean so we could get in a little early. I would absolutely stay here again if we make it back to the area.

We stayed at Annette's property in June and would highly recommend. The house was clean, spacious and full of great amenities (beach gear, bikes, outdoor shower, etc)! Annette was very attentive and responsive to our communication and even let us reserve an extra night at our last minute request. We walked to mini golf one night and the beach was a 5 min drive away, which didnt bother us at all. We did tons of exploring and really enjoyed the centralized location. Thanks for a great stay! We would love to visit again!

Christmas on OBX

Awesome, super comfortable house in a beautiful neighborhood. Owner was responsive, extremely accommodating and the whole experience was just easy. We had run into a hiccup with our travel plans and found ourselves without accommodations on Christmas Eve and like Santa’s elves, they checked us in and saved our Christmas:). Also, we arrived with all of the ingredients for our somewhat complicated traditional Xmas dinner (beef Wellington) and were able to prepare everything in their well outfitted kitchen!

Well-stocked house in Kill Devil Hills

The house was clean and comfortable for our family. The walk to the beach is about 6-7 blocks, almost a straight shot (the light to cross the busy Croatan Hwy. is 1 block south). There’s a cute coffee shop, an ice cream shop, a popular restaurant and mini golf 3-4 blocks away. Beach chairs and an umbrella were helpful. There was plenty of space on the beach in July.

Home Away From Home

⭐️ I highly recommend Holly’s Place! House is very clean, spacious, & absolutely “homey”. Our teen & young adult children enjoyed their own rooms and privacy on the 2nd floor. Kitchen has plenty of utensils and will accommodate your needs. Beds are also comfortable! Most importantly, Annette is very responsive from the beginning and so helpful with my questions. She made sure that our needs are met and available, if needed. Neighborhood is quiet and a good place for walking or riding. It is a short drive to grocery store and our favorite, Duck Donuts! Holly’s Place definitely gave us a nice haven to enjoy our first time in OBX. Thank you very much!
